The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Earn 1,000 additional Membership Rewards points after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $40 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 7/19/2026. Limit of 3,000 total Membership Rewards points. (3x uses)
  • Another version offers 500 points after $50 spend. (3x)
  • Another version offers 1,200 points after $150 spend. (3x)
  • There are a bunch of other versions as well. 

 

The Fine Print

  • Qualifying Purchases Offer valid online only at US website amazon.com or through the Amazon app.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
  • Excludes corporate gift card and custom-designed gift card purchases.
  • Excludes Prime memberships and auto-renew subscription services.
  • Purchases must be made in USD, and offer is only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
  • Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.

Our Verdict

The $40/1,000 version is especially nice. Personally, I found the 500 points offer on my Blue Business Plus card.

I’ll simply load up my Amazon balance (here’s our affiliate link to the reload page) three times for $50 each and be done with it. (In the past, it’s even worked with a single large purchase to get all the bonus points with one purchase, but I’ll do three purchases to be safe.)
