Amex Offers (Business Platinum/Gold): Get 4x Bonus Membership Rewards On Wireless, Shipping, Advertising, Gas and Office Supply

Update: This is showing on Business Platinum and Business Gold. On Gold, it stacks well with existing 4x gas category rate.

The Offer

Check your American Express business Membership Rewards-earning points cards for the following offer:

• Get 4 additional Membership Rewards points for each dollar spent on eligible purchases in the following categories:
  • Wireless
  • Shipping
  • Advertising
  • Gas
  • Office Supply Stores

The Fine Print

• Up to 80,000 points per category ($20,000 spend)

Our Verdict

I believe this is only available to Business Platinum credits and is in addition to the $200 customer appreciation credit. Personal card is getting two $50 best buy credits and a $30 monthly PayPal credit. This extra 4x should stack with the $25 bonus for purchases over $500+ if you’re targeted for that as well. I wouldn’t risk any sort of manufactured spend with this promotion and American Express’ track record so becareful with gift card and cash equivalent purchases.
