The Fine Print

• Allow 72 hours for the points to post

• Must view the Travel Advisor video (we’ve confirmed that this doesn’t need to actually be done for the points to post)

Our Verdict

I just set it to the background and came back three minutes later to enter my information. In hindsight I should’ve just gone directly to the entry form. You can only complete this once (even though there are 3 links). 300 La Quinta points isn’t a lot and certainly won’t get you a free night any time soon. You can transfer the your La Quinta points by using points.com (you can read our review of points.com by clicking here) which can make it useful for extending the lifetime on other loyalty programs. You can get the following points/miles by exchanging 300 La Quinta points using points.com:

• 49 Aeroplan miles
• 73 Asia miles
• 43 Audience Rewards ShowPoints
• 45 LifeMiles
• 389 ChinaRewards Points
• 119 EssoExtra Points
• 68 Hawaiian Miles
• 49 IcelandAir Saga Points
• 34 jetBlue points
• 462 SpeedyRewards Points
• 924 Suba Points
• 31 Virgin American points
