We buy most of our groceries at ALDI using a Citi Custom Cash card for 5% back. 7% sounds good but I won’t bother using my Chase card for a lousy $4 max.

Haha, a day after the offers appeared on my Chase Prime Visa and my WF card, the exact same offer showed up on my Amex cards. I will try to use the Amex first to see if my store still takes Amex!
I don’t see the point of these low max value offers, like this and the eBay offers. $2 or $3 offers just aren’t worth the hassle unless you’re already planning on using that card anyway.

People having birthdays year round? I mean, I do not buy 3rd party gift cards for anyone ever, but I guess some people do? And maybe some DoC visitors were buying 3rd party gift cards with some offers, after being notified of whatever offers might be available through whatever channels? I dunno. 🙃
My Aldi in the Philly burbs still has the 3rd party gift card display a couple hours ago.
Even odder … I was told at my local Aldi that Aldi gift cards could only be purchased in increments of $5.
I was told by the manager at my Aldi that at the beginning of May they took 3rd party gift cards out of their system and you can’t purchase them again until November. You can only purchase Aldi gift cards now at Aldi. (the 3rd party gift cards are only for the holiday season – for the life of me, I can’t understand what the big deal is to sell them all year round.)
William Charles offer is back on my Chase Amazon AND my WF card, 5% back up to $3, so $60 purchase will max the offer. Expires June 14, 2026. No offer on any of my Amex cards like before, so I wonder if Aldis in my state also stopped accepting AmEx cards… Very surprised, as I JUST redeemed the same Aldi offer on these 2 cards less than 2 weeks ago. Ibotta has $2.69 back on a Perfect bar at Aldi (free after offer). I just ate the peanut butter one. 17g of protein. If it costs $2.69 that’s a $0.19 profit at 7%

7% on the my new CSR and my Freedom which was recently product changed from CSP. It is too bad quality at Aldi is hit or miss and they don’t sell 3rd-party gift cards.
