Our Verdict

Not as good as the 7-Eleven or Speedway discounts unfortunately. You can find more ways to save money on fuel here. If you know of any other ways to stack this app discount with other offers share them below.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

By using the app instead of simply tapping your card, you earn 3 points/$0.03 per gallon (NOT per dollar), you can redeem towards future gas purchase in $1 increments. Stacks with whatever percentage your card earns on gas. Joining AARP (no age restriction) and enrolling your membership number in the Exxon Mobil app ups this to 4 points/$0.04 per gallon. It also activates a one time 500 point/$5 bonus on next fill up of 8 gallons or more (ymmv)

Unless they make a special referral post it’s verboten to share. I just checked and seems like referrals are only 100 points ($1) so not missing much.

Gone are the days when there’s 5 active codes for new guys. You can either use someone’s referral, or I think some apps like Rakuten / Swagbucks etc might have a small bonus (takes place of referral)

I didnt even realize it would work! Any good signup promosfor upside? I never bothered to sign up but double dipping would be awesome.

I used app several years ago, but I still received email this time. Am I eligible ? Or do they send email to everyone even though some have used app in the past?

You could always set up a new account with an alternate phone number

I received this offer on all my old and dormant accounts. Check for email with subject “ Get a total of $10 in points when you use the app”.

No Mobile stations around me qualify for Upside. 🙁

Dang, anyone who has done Amex Exxon offer in past is already not qualified since that offer was for pay in app.

The app works ok in conjunction with Upside (3 dots ->view paper receipt ->just screenshot screen and crop the app out). For any other receipt apps or offers you may need to go inside and request a paper copy (annoying) as you can’t request at the pump.
