The Fine Print

Our Verdict
Meijer sells $200 Visa gift cards, and some locations sell $500 Visa gift cards, so this is a profitable deal especially when you use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

It’s not in coupons, it’s under mPerks | Earn.
Mastercard deal is still available (through 8/25/26).
Lindsey There’s a thread here: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/topcashback-get-3-bonus-when-you-spend-10-today-only/ Contact Us is a good place to post.
Sorry to piggyback here. Topcashback bonus is back. Spend 20 get 2.50. 8/19 to 8/20.
I searched but couldn’t find an article for Mastercard Chuck but Meijer is offering the same deal starting today 8/19 – 8-25/26 Earn 10,000 points when you spend $100 or more on MasterCard Gitt Cards Purchase to start earning. Earn through 08/25/26 | 6 Days Left This offer will expire if you don’t meet the requirements by the valid through date. Terms & Conditions Points can be earned all at once or over multiple shopping trips. Limit 10,000 points per customer. See mPerks.com for details. *No clipping needed, just enter your mPerks ID before you check out to start earning.
Note this doesn’t require a clipped coupon this time around. Under “earn” in mperks list
That used to be my go to before Elan’s 5% on utilities category. Now I’m limited to more insurance or med bills. Wish it were $10 off to use multiple accounts more efficiently.
Costco, Insurance, and medical bills work good.
Thanks DOC! I find pre-paying utilities is the best way to drain these.
Yeah, you can do self-checkout. At $500 it will flag the clerk to come over to authorize and make sure things are on the up and up. At $499 or less it will sail through as far as Meijer is concerned.
Yes, it worked for me. I was able to use the card to reload my Amazon gift card balance without any issues.
Yes to both. I’ve purchased gift cards at Meijer using self-checkout, including $500 cards, without any issues. Your experience may vary by store, but yes, self-checkout is generally allowed, and a $500 gift card can be purchased there.
does anyone know if I can reload amazon gc balance using this card
Does meijer allow self checkout for giftcards? If yes, what maximum amount ($500) allowed at self checkout? Thanks
I see now, thank you!
There is no coupon, it’s points. Shows under the Earn tab.
I cannot find this coupon, I searched visa, card, credit, gift
Nice. Don’t let any expire. You can always buy something from the general merchandise section and wipe them all out at once. Agree on points in general though. Meijer/I’ve made too many mistakes in the past. I’d rather see my discount before I pay for a non -refundable gift card.
For clarification they mean you have 45 days to redeem the coupon/ discount after redeeming the points.
Cool, thanks! I’m sitting on 145,xxx Meijer points in my main accountand; the wife likes shopping at Whole Foods instead of Meijer or Kroger near me. That’s why I don’t really want a lot more Meijer points.
Mike McDonald Looks like Kroger is on again according to this comment .
Yes, and furthermore you have 45 days to use points after you redeem them. So, in theory you could redeem your points right at the end of October and not use them until the middle of December
William Charles Headline still says 6/30
Thanks.
Thanks.
They expire at the end of the month 90 days after they were earned. So points earned today would expire at the end of October.
They expire after 90 days, from when I last checked earlier this year. Forgot where in the Meijer site or app that that’s located though.
Does Meijier points expire? I could not find the expiration date in the account.
Yes.
It really depends on where you do most of your shopping. I shop at Meijer and going to a Mariano’s (Kroger) would be out of the way, negating some of the savings. They both do have their merits.
