My local Meijer codes as grocery/supermarket on my Citi, Chase, and Amex cards. Note that Meijer gas stations code differently.
You can try by buying a small item with PayPal Debit card if your monthly 5% cash back is set for groceries and see if your earn 5% cash back which should show up instantly. I haven’t been to Meijer since last month but all the time I have used PayPal Debit card at Meijer, I always have gotten 5% cash back for “groceries”.
Could someone confirm that all purchases at Meijer stores still codes as grocery?
William Charles Back until 8/11.
10000 points gets you $30 of free gas. So 50k points is worth $150 gas.
Thanks
@William Charles This is back until 7/14.
5,000 points for every $50, limited to 50,000 points/$500 spend. Valid 7/1/26 – 7/14/26. Good in store for Grocery spend or at Meijer Express for Gas spend (Q3 Discover & Freedom/Freedom Flex). Chuck charles
5,000 points for every $50, limited to 50,000 points/$500 spend. Valid 6/10/26 – 6/23/26. Good in store for Grocery spend or at Meijer Express for Gas spend. Chuck charles
It expired. Was available for two day flash sale.
The offer doesn’t show in my mPerks account. Am I still eligible?
Yeah the other day the language looked like it would allow up to 50,000 points. I forgot to screenshot.
It’s been on the exclusion list for a year + already
Bought $50 Lowe’s GC using Amex Blue Cash Preferred with 6% cat. 10K points posted pretty much immediately. They don’t have Walmart gc. But they do have one4all. I guess I could get more $50 GC. Using my other mperks accounts.
Dang I missed out. Me and P2 just picked up our $50 each with the normal limit on this elevated promo but would’ve easily went to $500 max each if that was still in effect. That would’ve been truly great.
I can confirm it was higher yesterday, had taken a screen capture though I didn’t want to deal with the holiday crowds so didn’t get there.
This is the first time I’ve noticed Apple on the exclusion list.
What gas station is a dollar off cheaper than Meijer for up to 30 gallons.
It was higher limit yesterday? Must’ve been a mistake somebody made since usually the 10k for $50 promo is more limited like this compared to the more common 5k for $50 promo.
William Charles
Yep, looks like they changed it. That’s a bummer. Glad I went yesterday.
Max 10K points for $50 GC
I’ll take 20% back in points for Target gift cards.
Exclusions and net gas savings compared to alternatives in my neck o’ the woods make this offer unattractive.
If you forget to apply mperks at checkout, it’s ok. You can scan the receipt in the app and it will apply the purchase to your acct retroactively. However, you must still be in the promo period to get the 10K points. If you bought the card in the promo period but then forgot to scan receipt till after, it will not credit 10K points
@William Charles might want to update today’s update to say limit of 10k points
It says max 10000 points per customer so its just the $50
Flash sale for 2 days 10,000 points for $50 in gift cards unclear in the terms if you can do up the 500
Have not done it with Meijer but other companies that drop calls I just fire off a letter in the mail. They call me back (after looking me up as I don’t even leave a phone number in the letter) and if I’m busy they call again a few days latter. Usually a minute or two call just after you reiterate your point in the letter, bank company calls last longer though (after going to regs for the latter.) . If that doesn’t work the letter can be copied to the AG or other regulator. That is how one bypasses the run around if that starts to happen.
This is back thru 5/12/26
