The Fine Print

  • This offer is available to new checking account households and limited to one per household
  • S&T will credit one bonus of $100 on May 6, 2016 to an S&T checking account opened between February 1 and March 11, 2016 with five S&T debit card transactions completed (posted and cleared) by April 29, 2016
  • Offer applies to new consumer Free Checking, Preferred Account Checking and Four Star Club Checking
  • Offer cannot be combined with any other offer and is subject to change or termination without notice
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

They offer a free checking account with no monthly fees. There was no mention of an early account termination fee in their fee schedule found here.

Our Verdict

Really easy requirements to get the bonus and also no need to worry about monthly fees makes this a great deal, we’ll definitely be adding it to our best bank bonus list if we can confirm it’s a soft pull to open, even better if you can fund with a credit card.
