This account does not come with a monthly or early account termination fee. As such there are no fees to avoid

Easiest Way To Hit The Bonus

  • Open account with a $250 or more initial deposit
  • Wait 30 days for your bonus to clear and for it to be eligible to be withdrawn
  • Withdraw it to your usual checking account

Our Verdict

Like the $50 checking bonus we just posted about from Capital One 360, it’s better to wait until one of their larger promotions come around before signing up for this savings account, as you can only earn this bonus once. They usually have the following bonuses each year:

  • Independence Day / 4th of July (usually a sign up bonus of $76, deal should run from July 1st till July 3rd this year)
  • Black Friday (usually a sign up bonus of $75, deal should run from November 28th till November 3rd this year
