U.S. Bank Launches ‘Protect 360’ For Consumer Credit Cards

U.S. Bank has launched Protect 360 for consumer credit cardholders. There are two tiers:

• Protect 360 Essentials (free)
  • Monitor changes to their credit profile
  • Receive alerts when personal information appears on data broker sites
  • Identify potential exposure of sensitive personal information
  • Remove information from exposed sites with Protect 360 Essentials guidance
• Protect 360 Premium (paid, $9.99 per month)
  • Automate removal of information from exposed sites with Protect 360 Premium
  • Access up to $1 million in identity theft protection with Protect 360 Premium

Cardholders can sign up in the U.S. Bank mobile app or online banking. This replaces the previous credit monitoring service that U.S. Bank offered. 

Our Verdict

Don’t think this is worth paying for as there are similar services that are cheaper and/or have better benefits. The basic protect might be of interest to some readers.
