Uphold Debit Card – Earn Up To 4% Back In XRP On All Purchases

Uphold has two debit cards: Uphold Elite & Uphold Essentials. 

Uphold Elite

• $99 annual fee
• 4% back in Rewards Currency (currently XRP) on purchases using Cryptocurrency or Metals as a card funding source
• 3% back in Rewards Currency (currently XRP) on purchases using Fiat or Stablecoins as a card funding source each Eligible Purchase (seems to only be available for three months after activating)
• Limit of $300 back each month

Uphold Essential

• No annual fee
• 2% in XRP, up to $120, for purchases using crypto, fiat, stablecoins and metals.

Our Verdict

X Money offers 3% back on debit card spend. I couldn’t easily find a list of exclusions for Uphold. I personally try to stay away from these types of products as I don’t think it’s sustainable long term and I don’t have a lot of trust in different crypto marketplaces. Still worth exploring for some people though.
