Update 10/2/26: Available again, but not nearly as good as the recent 100k + 100 XP deal.
Update 7/22/26: Available again, also the 60k + $100 + 100 XP offer available via dummy booking as well. Hat tip to reader Nate.

They’ve also enhanced a few things about the card, generally. See Card Details, below.

Our Verdict
We saw the same 70k + 100 XP bonus last year. Some people are getting a dummy booking offer of 60k + 100 + $100, so you’ll have to decide which you prefer.
Note also the card is now Visa Signature, they added 3x Dining, and they added/changed the annual XP bonuses for spend.
If you want to apply for this card I’d recommend reading our post with all the things you should know about Bank of America credit cards first. We’ll add this to our List of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

I’ll wait for the 100k again
No one is going to talk about the massive taxes and fees on award redemptions ?
That’s a lot easier said than done. Wishing you luck!
Platinum or better. You can achieve that in the second year with some more spend.
Interesting, in my email message I got “Plus, enjoy a $100 Internet Discount Code for a qualifying future flight upon approval, so you can start planning your next journey even sooner.”
“Instant” after meeting MSR. The 100XP is part of the SUB. And the XP is what gets you Silver.
instant Silver Elite status? Where are you seeing this? I ask because I already have the card, and I think I’m prevented from getting any extra XP. But you say the status is “instant?”
Can you spend your way to high enough status to book a La Premier award on miles? You have to be top tier for that right?
Can select seats and you also get an extra checked bag.
It was in email offer today
I also got “ Plus, earn an additional 30,000 Bonus Miles after making $7,500 or more in purchases within the first 180 days of account opening”
its not useful for that. its basically 1. free seat picking, 2. free checked bags, 3. priority boarding. i believe you also get priority during IRROPS. its pretty worthwhile if you fly delta / air france / klm frequently and need an assist to get to Gold.
Seat assignments are NOT worthless on international flights where they otherwise sell seat assignments.
its worthless only think you just get to pick seat.
The instant Silver Elite status is compelling. How valuable is this, as I have a pair of KLM/Air France flights booked? Would this open up status match opportunities with other airlines or hotels?
How strict is Bank Of America about 5/24 rule? How about recent credit card applications? and do they care if you are Preferred Honors customer?
You go to AF website and start a booking for any route. A card offer shows up and you apply
This is going to be a very dumb question.. but what is a dummy booking?
Will and Chuck please make a note. Good news! William Charles Chuck
Same 70K and 60K plus 100 credit (with dummy booking) is back on the Air France website.
Same 70K offer is back on the Air France website. Dummy booking offer of 60K plus 100 statement credit is also showing again.
Just tested the links and you’re right – it’s back down to 50k SUB. Chuck
Seems dead
What’s an FA code? Did you fly Alaska recently and get a code from a Flight Attendant? Can the code give you more bonus? Ray
Thank you! I also put in a FA code as well to help out.
Congrats Ray. Thank you for supporting Atmos and BoA’s cc because people don’t talk about it without any referral bonus
Just applied with elevated Ascent and was approved.
But Atmos Ascent still has a 70k miles offer and a lower spend requirement (3k) rw Please let us know if you do decide to apply and get approved
Also i nstantly approved, 3/12, been avoiding bofa so I’m also wondering if I should dip another application within 30 days. Atmos Ascent and business 85k offers are gone.
Thanks for letting me know! Yeah I’ll see if the ascent is worth while & might wait to apply just before 30 days.
