The Offer

No direct link to offer, sent out via e-mail. Subject line is ‘You’ve unlocked even more
rewards*’

  • Fintech Percapita is offering some existing users $25-$50 per month:
      • Spend $300 or more in qualifying purchases using your Percapita Visa® Debit Card and receive $25.
      • Spend $600 or more in qualifying purchases using your Percapita Visa® Debit Card and receive $50.

The Fine Print

  • Existing Percapita Cash Account holders who have earned six (6) debit spend incentive bonuses during their first 12 months with Percapita are eligible to earn a twenty-five-dollar ($25) incentive payment for each calendar month in which they spend three hundred dollars ($300) or more using their Percapita Visa® Debit Card during their second year after their Cash Account opening.
  • They are also eligible to earn an additional twenty-five-dollar ($25) incentive payment for each calendar month in which they spend six hundred dollars ($600) or more using their Percapita Visa Debit Card.
  • For purposes of this offer, using your Percapita Visa Debit Card for cash withdrawals at an ATM, cash substitutes (e.g., sports betting, casino chips, money orders, gift cards, prepaid cards, check cashing services) or for money movement (e.g., peer-to-peer transfers or account funding transfers) will not be considered spending or a purchase, and, therefore, will not contribute toward the three hundred dollar ($300) or six hundred dollar ($600) qualifying requirements.
  • To qualify for a monthly incentive payment the Cash Account must remain open and active throughout the applicable incentive month (which means that the account has been open and has had at least one monetary (non-fee) transaction during the applicable incentive month. If the above eligibility criteria are met, the $25 incentive payment(s) will be credited to the customer’s Cash Account within ten (10) business days of the applicable incentive month-end
  • . This promotion is valid from September 16, 2026, through December 31, 2027. Percapita reserves the right to revoke or modify this offer at any time, with or without notice.
  • If it is determined that a customer has engaged in or plans to engage in abuse or gaming in connection with this offer, that customer will be prohibited from further participation in the offer and will forfeit all rights to any incentive payments.
  • Percapita may report to the IRS the value of any incentive payment made, and any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Incentive payments are offered and paid by Percapita and not by Sutton Bank.

Our Verdict

Similar to the offer for new customers that is $25 per month when you spend $300+. Makes that offer even better but no guarantee this existing user offer will still be available if you signed up now.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

I did not receive the increased $50 for spending $600 and opened a live chat. The agent explicitly stated i did not qualify because my account was not 12 months old yet. I replied that i probably should not have received this email if i hadn’t qualified yet. He did not care.

Got it. Apology for misunderstanding

Perhaps I should have phrased my comment about my interaction with their chat support more clearly. “Just confirmed with CSR that it all goes into effect immediately — even for those whose accounts are not officially 1-year-old. I opened my account last November, so nice little extra.” Rather than suggesting that it was a go for absolutely anyone and everyone, I meant to say that they were greenlighting it even for folks who were shy of the 1-year mark — like me. The rep was obviously eager to push continued account use with them — with no regard for the actual terms of their promo. Disappointing.

Their term is pretty clear: “Existing Percapita Cash Account holders who have earned six (6) debit spend incentive bonuses during their first 12 months with Percapita are eligible to earn a twenty-five-dollar ($25) incentive payment for each calendar month in which they spend three hundred dollars ($300) or more using their Percapita Visa® Debit Card during their second year after their Cash Account opening.” Someone below claimed they talked to rep and confirmed it’s available to everyone, regardless of account age. Now DP just proved it’s not true.

After scanning recent comments, it looks like no one has received the extra $25 for spending $600 in one calendar month? I have spent $600 this month but only received $25. So I guess this extra $25 follow-on offer is a bust! (But it seems like it may happen 12 months after I started the original offer? Confusing! If so, they shouldn’t advertise this offer so far in advance that it is irrelevant for up to half a year.)

Im not to upset, I was expecting it to earn 25 only so oh well. I opened my acct 10/9 so ill just do another one after that date and hope its flipped to $50 by then.

bf1🔗💰 It is more common for CS to conjure a quick answer than to meticulously review the terms and/or confirm with the appropriate back office team. I would kindly suggest not upsetting the cow and just continue milking.

Thanks for the DP. I’m wondering whether there’s any accountability for bad CS info. I could not have phrased my question to them about *current* eligibility any more clearly. And, in no uncertain terms, they confirmed that it was a go — right now. Yet my second $300 spend for the month was not rewarded with an additional $25.

Just my DP, acct opened oct 2025, had received the email earlier this month regarding the $50 bonus for the 2nd year. Spent $600 on 9/18 to see if I would get 25 or 50. Just received $25 today, so assuming the $50 bonus doesnt start till your actual 2nd year.

My one year is up on 10/20, already got my 12th $25 bonus earlier this month. I tried a $600 WM MO on Thursday to see what would happen. Nada. Guess I’ll wait until after 10/20 to do my spend for October.

i opened about 6 months ago, got all the monthly $25 bonuses, spent $600 this month, only got $25. it’s fine, it is still like 4% cash back which is fine for purchases that can only use a debit card. I’ll probably just revert to spending $300/mo until a positive dp appears for getting $50 before the 12 month mark. money orders are specifically called out in t&c so tread carefully?

BO
BonusVault💰➕🔗#2416694

The smartest move right now is to stop speculating and just buy a $600 money order to see how much bonus you actually get this month. Worst case, you’re out $1 for the MO plus a trip to the grocery store/supermarket—which you probably

What did you do wrong though? It’s worked for me perfectly for a year now….

I asked the question about being immediately eligible for the $600 incentive (spend $600/get $50 bonus per month), though I opened a Percapita account a few months and was told “No:” Currently, to be eligible for the $600 incentive, you need to be an account holder for one year. It looks like your Cash Account was just opened. Once you have had your Cash Account open for at least one year and have earned at least six debit spend incentives during the first year, you will be eligible for the second-year incentive of $600.

Don’t bother with this crap bank, they are a joke. See trustpilot for reviews. I closed my account, couldn’t even use it, they took 3 weeks to unlock it, then locked it again a week later LOL

continued: they tried over $400 at federal appeals office. Card was already closed but percapita listed the charge as denied. They have my old card listed as lost.

Refer your P2 and you’ll get $50 bonus. Based on the terms, 50/600 offer is only for the second year of Percapits accounts. But someone below confirmed with CSR that it’s effective immediately for everybody, regardless of account age. The game plan for P2 is just to spend $600 in the first month, and see if $25 or $50 is credited. If only $25 posted, then just stick with 25/300 for the first year.

I’m probably just sticking my car insurance on it. That’s usually how I knock out SUBs however, so now I have to figure that out or do some gardening.

TU
tuphat#2414807

Apologies if covered elsewhere: What’s the thinking on new accounts, e.g., P2 opening now via referral? Is she stuck with 25/300 or can she access 50/600?

BO

I see it as a ~8% cash back catch-all card, to cover spendings on which i do not earn 5+% cash back. With that said, I use it mostly for Giftcards.com gc shopping, since it’s somehow not coded as online shopping for my BofA CCR.

Before cash it use to be 250 points. When I asked their customer service what I can do with the pointe, ie redeem for cash, I was told nope they have no redemption method, it was just for high scores like a video game.

I just finished my 12 month run and was going to sock-drawer the card, until this came along. Thanks, Percapita!
