Our Verdict

Standard bonus on the annual fee card is 30,000 points after first purchase and on the no annual fee card it’s 15,000 points after first purchase. They offered this same bonus in December of last year and when they first launch all award nights at 15,000 points. As mentioned all Wyndham properties cost 15,000 per night, so there can be some good value to be had at their higher tier properties. If you’re looking for lots of nights, this isn’t the card for you.

Wyndham has some nice properties (read our list of the best properties they have here). But I wouldn’t be doing that unless I had a specific redemption in mind. You can read our full in depth review of these cards here. In addition Wyndham recently announced and introduced some loyalty tiers, so I’m kind of surprised this card doesn’t offer any status benefit at all (e.g low level status on annual fee card or option to earn high tier status through a large amount of spend on the card).
