Bilt To Cut Hyatt Transfer Rate From 1:1 To 4:3 (Live 1/1/27)

Bilt has announced that the transfer rate on Hyatt transfers will go from 1:1 to 4:3. The rate cut goes into effect on January 1, 2027. This follows on from Chase cutting the rate to the same levels from today for all cardholders except Sapphire Reserve personal & business cardholders. Hyatt is one of the most popular and useful transfer partners for both programs so it’s a shame to see rates reduced like this. I’m somewhat surprised to see that Bilt won’t keep rates 1:1 for Bilt Platinum users like Chase did for Sapphire Reserve cardholders but maybe we will see some transfer bonuses from Bilt to bring that rate back up to 1:1.
