• Media City Credit Union is offering a $100 referral bonus to both parties when the person being referred completes the following requirements:
  • • Make a minimum of 10 transactions (debit card PIN/signature purchases, ACH debits, bill payment) per month; and
    • Make a Direct Deposit from a payroll, pension, or government benefit of $500+ monthly (Must begin within 60 days from opening date); and
    • Enroll in e-Statements. The account must maintain activity for a minimum of 90 days.

The Fine Print

• Campaign not valid for existing Media City CU members or existing loans with Media City CU. The referring member will receive the $100 referral right away when new member opens the membership with a checking account. Referred member will receive a $100 deposit after 90 days into the checking account if all qualifiers are met. 
• Media City CU membership required in order to open a new checking account. The referred person must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass Chexsystems. Must open a New Checking Account to earn Reward. If new membership is closed within the first 90 days, there is a $20 early membership closing fee. Must not have an existing Media City CU Checking Account. Account must be opened and in good standing at the time of qualification to receive the Reward. Media City CU employees and officials are not eligible for this offer. We reserve the right to disqualify any referrals in circumstances where we reasonably believe they were not sent to us in good faith. 
• Media City CU reserves the right to change or cancel the promotion without notice. Accounts are subject to all terms and conditions set forth in the current Account Agreement and Truth-In-Savings Disclosure. See Schedule of Fees. Other conditions may apply.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
