Our Verdict
Card typically doesn’t have a sign up bonus, recently it has had a bonus of $100 with the same spend requirement. I think it briefly had a bonus of $200 when first launched as well, but that was a long time ago. $150 isn’t a huge bonus, but the spend requirement is low and it’s a cash bonus plus the card earns 2% cash back on all purchases. That’s basically as good as it gets when it comes to unrestricted earning. This card might make sense for somebody who doesn’t already have a good every day earning card and values cash sign up bonuses. I also think as restrictions get tighter and tighter what’s an acceptable bonus on these sorts of cards will change. As always if you have questions about Citi cards, read this first.
