Our Verdict

Navy Federal is constantly offering attractive deals and seems to be a credit union that really cares about it’s members. I’ve heard nothing but positive experiences about their customer service team. I’m not eligible for this bonus due to the membership requirements for this credit union.

$200 is one of the higher cash bonuses on the market currently, but the spend of $3,000 might be quite restrictive for a lot of potential applicants. In contrast the Chase Freedom is currently $200/$225 for a spend of $500, although I imagine most of my readers already have that credit card.

I’d only recommend getting this card for the $200 sign up bonus, as the 1.5% cash back on all purchases can be easily beaten.
