- First Commerce Bank is offering a $500 bonus when you open a new Freedom checking account and complete the following requirements:
- Open online with a Minimum Balance of $25.00
- Enroll in eStatements
- Receive and post and clear one ACH credit or ACH debit in the amount of $2,500 or more
- Open a Freedom Money Market online with a minimum of $1,000.00
- Alternatively you can do it without Freedom Money Market. Open Freedom Checking and complete the following requirements:
- Open online with minimum of $100.00
- Enroll in eStatements
- Receive one ACH Credit in the amount of $2,500 or more
- Complete one ACH Debit or Bill Pay transaction
- Conduct 25 Point of Sale transactions using your FCB debit card
- First Order of special Freedom Checks (20)
The Fine Print
- Freedom Checking account must be opened online, enrolled in eStatements, receive and post and clear 1 ACH credit or ACH debit in the amount of $2,500.00, and must open a Freedom Money Market account online.
- Both the Freedom Checking and Freedom Money Market accounts must remain open and in good standing for the full 90‑day qualification period.
- The $500.00 bonus will be paid within 30 calendar days following the completion of the 90‑day qualification period.
- Promotion valid for accounts opened April 27, 2026 through June 14, 2026. See Account Agreement for full bonus terms and conditions. Other restrictions may apply. This account also offers an ATM surcharge fee rebate when certain qualifications are met during the statement cycle. The monthly qualifications to receive this rebate are (1)Enroll in e-Statements (2) Receive one ACH credit or debit in the amount of $2,500.00 or more (3) Maintain a Freedom Money Market account.
- All qualifying transactions must post and clear the account prior to the end of each statement cycle to qualify for the reward.
- This surcharge fee rebate will continue even after the promotion and qualification periods if you continue to meet the required qualifications each monthly statement cycle.
- Freedom Checking is a non-interest-bearing account.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict
Can’t see this lasting long as it seems like approvals are being done manually. Most people will want to do the bonus without the money market account as it’s difficult to keep it fee free.
