  • GESA Credit Union is offering a bonus of $100 for opening a new checking account when you complete the following requirements within 60 days of account opening :
    • Enroll in Xpress Online Banking
    • Sign up and receive eStatements
    • Complete 5 debit card transactions
    • Receive one ACH deposit of $250 or more

The Fine Print

  • Eligible checking accounts are Classic, Colossal, Student or Premier Checking accounts. $100 incentive will be paid after all qualification criteria are met.
  • Only one $100 incentive per member. Member must not have had a Gesa checking account within the last 90 days.
  • Checking account may be opened at any Gesa Member Service Center.
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict

Last time they offered a $100 bonus there was no requirements and it posted instantly, now there are so many requirements I don’t think this bonus is worth considering. I’d recommend focusing on bigger bonuses or $100 bonuses with less requirements, this one seems like too much work for very little gain.
