deal is back for $300 https://www.liveoak.bank/personal-savings/
It’s Sept 1st and no bonus announcement from Live Oak. Doesn’t look good.
Upon further review, not doing it. Comments in the E*Trade thread are way too troubling. Just not worth it to me.
Likewise…
All my accounts except for one got auto-closed today after I emptied them out on 7/1, so exactly 45 days after zero balance.
If you already had an account, you had to open a second new one to get the bonus, is that correct? I just deposited to my existing account, but they’re saying I had to open a second account and fund THAT one.
Can confirm over $600 it does report as 1099-misc.
Joey in my experience if it’s before about 5:45 PM (Central), you get “credit” for a pull into CIT the next day. That means it’s showing in your account as “current balance”, and earning interest, but not yet in your “available balance”. In my experience it takes right at a week/5 business days to be actually available.
The CIT site will (should) give you that information. They’re pretty proficient about keeping you informed of the status of incoming deposits.
James James What about pulling into CIT? I just pulled over $100k. Just wondering how long it’ll take to post and what sort of hold I can expect on the money.
Report this year shows he’s been selling shares since February.
P1/P2/P3 5/28 Opened 5/29 Deposited 20k 7/31 Withdrawn 20k 8/3 200 Bonus
Just a theory but just maybe that’s why the CEO sold shares. Knowing deposits would be moving lower if the bonuses were ending.
5/20 opened 5/28 reached $20k balance 8/3 $200 bonus
I have the same feeling. Last year they did take a similar hiatus and skipped the expected July round before resuming the typical pattern with Round 5, 09/02/25–09/30/25. Round 6 was then announced early mid-Oct (10/13/25) to “trap” more deposits. Lately they usually announce the first Monday (or Tues) of the month before the funding deadline at the end of odd-numbered months. Since they skipped what should have been a new round with a 7/31 funding deadline, I’m hoping they resume with a 9/30 funding deadline round. But if they don’t announce by 9/8, I’d say chances are slim to none.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
The bonus was credited to my account today on Monday 8/3 as “Customer Appreciation Credit”. Previous bonuses posted as “Promotional Credit”.
5/28 – P1 and P2 opened new savings accounts at 6pm EST, pulled in $20K –> balance credited for Thurs 5/28, funds not pulled from external account until Monday 6/1 for 4 days of double interest 7/28 – mix of pushes out and external pulls to withdraw most funds from Live Oak savings 8/3 – $200 bonuses posted as of ~5pm EST
Yes, 8/3 between 3 PM EST & 5 PM EST. Funded date was 5/28/26.
Anyone get paid today yet?
Perish the thought… but you’re probably right.
If Live Oak doesn’t announce a new deal by Labor Day, I think they’re done with frequent bonus deals.
Glad you were able to get the money out and reset. I was hoping for today but maybe they’ll go for Labor Day weekend.
I’m guessing we would’ve heard something by now? I just transferred my money out.
Opened and funded on 5/22 but still no bonus. I’m pretty sure was related to the error they made on the opening date. They opened and funded two savings accounts without telling me (I only received one confirmation email and one new account showing up when I logged in). Then they reversed the funding from my new account the next day. But my funding account showing they drafted 2x$20k and revised only one. That’s why I contacted liveoak to find out what’s going on. They couldn’t figure out why until a week later that they have another account opened on the same day but it was invisible to me and the money was sitting there. So ended up they closed the account I can see and made the invisible account visible for me. The rationale was because it has the $20k balance. I was worried that would affect the bonus posting but they insisted it shouldn’t. Yesterday I contacted them about it. They could see the note about their error made on 5/22 but insisted they will review after 45 days. Uhh
Hope so. Resetting the balances was nice, but now I’m anxious to have them start up again.
I wonder if it’ll be this Monday? I think the last one in September started on the 2nd.
Oops meant to put 7/28
Update: I contacted support through chat. They indicated that upon their review, it appears I met the terms of the bonus. They noted that I maintained existing balances and the account that closed during the 60 day period should not have affected the offer. They escalated the request and said to expect resolution within a few business days.
that was fast, paid day after you funded!
