Original Post 10/23/25:

American Express has added a new $150 Squarespace credit to their Business Gold Card. Cardholders can get up to $150 in statement credits each calendar year for eligible U.S. purchases made directly with Squarespace. Enrollment is required.

AmEx Benefits Page link

This new $150 Squarespace credit can help justify the $375 annual fee for someone who has a website and can use it. The credit can cover most of a basic annual plan with Squarespace ($192). Topcashback currently has Squarespace at $50.50 for a new member. Check all portal rates here.

Other Business Gold card benefits include:

  • 4X Membership Rewards points on the two categories where your business spends the most each billing cycle (up to $150,000 per year)
  • $240 Flexible Business Credit ($20 per month at FedEx, Grubhub, and Office Supply Stores)
  • Walmart+ Monthly Membership Credit ($12.95 per month)

The credit applies to U.S. purchases made directly on Squarespace.com or AcuityScheduling.com. Subscription purchases are subject to auto-renewal, and annual plans will automatically renew each year unless cancelled.

Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a Business Gold Card® Account can enroll the Card Account in the benefit. Eligible purchases must be charged to the enrolled Card Account for the benefit to apply. Purchases by both the enrolled Basic Card Member and Employee Card Members on the enrolled Card Account are eligible for statement credits. Each Card Account is eligible for up to $150 in statement credits per calendar year. Valid only on purchases made directly with Squarespace on squarespace.com or acuityscheduling.com in the U.S. and U.S. territories where Squarespace is the merchant of record for the purchase. Certain purchases may be subject to auto-renewal. If you purchase an annual plan, Squarespace will charge you the then-applicable subscription fee and any applicable taxes each year on your annual subscription renewal date until cancelled. If you purchase a monthly plan, Squarespace will charge you the then-applicable subscription fee and any applicable taxes each month on your monthly subscription renewal date until cancelled. For more information about Squarespace’s cancellation requirements and deadlines, please visit the Squarespace Help Center. Please allow 6–8 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credit(s) has (have) not posted after 8 weeks from the date an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date, then the purchase may not contribute toward the statement credit benefit for the calendar year in which the purchase was made.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

I lookd at the squarespace page. Where do I find the Gsuite option to buy?

THANK YOU to the people who posted the tip about Google Workspaces. I’ve been paying $16 per month for Google Workspaces (formerly GSuite) for YEARS now and I don’t even use it that much. The Squarespace credit combined with the other credits I’ve been using may actually be enough to get me to keep this card long term. (And I also had the AmEx offer on my Business Gold card so thanks for that tip as well!)

Steps on how to do this for someone who has no use for the domain but could benefit from more Google space and Gemini Pro?

Amex declined my charge yesterday. I recommend Citibank, it’s much better

Finally got around to doing this 3/19 (the last day for the $60 merchant offer). Used promo code MAR20WF for 20% off, which was what was on the banner on the homepage when I clicked thru. Final cost was $163.20. $60 amex offer (/amex url requirement not enforced) + $150 squarespace credit posted immediately. TopCashback is pending at $55.55 (as well as a $0 tracking entry). Earns at 1x if that was a question. The checkout process was fairly straightforward; just made a dummy website that’s sitting in drafts. About a $104 MM assuming TCB posts. Probably wouldn’t have noticed this credit if not for the post, so thanks DoC 👍

8-year domain registration $154 out the door, so $4 after credit – or a $56 money maker if you had the $60 back after $150 spend amex offer.

DP- credit received for purchasing domain for seven years.

I’m in the same boat. There typically isn’t, but I chatted with them and explained what I wanted to do, the agent was great and made an exception to give me a pro-rated refund. So I cancelled my subscription for the refund, then immediately signed up again to get the credit for this year.

Did the credits for additional years come through?

Confirming that I received several credits for transferring different domains and adding a year during the transfer. Today I will try adding additional years to more domains and seeing if those get credited too

Should be able to just pay for a month and get back the cash yeah? Or does subscription mean you have to sign up for an annual plan?

Any way to take advantage of the credit if you don’t really need squarespace? I don’t see a squarespace gift card exists..

Anyone know how to pay $150 towards your bill multiple times if you have more than one Biz Gold?

Does anybody know if you can use two or three forms of payment, like Dell?

This AF card is not a keeper for me, once the spend is complete it goes in the dead card drawer with all the others. Just give me those 200k points Amex.

Kinda niche, but Squarespace isn’t just a web host, they’re also a domain registrar… if you have a bunch of domains you could transfer them over. Squarespace might be a little on the expensive side for that, though.

RU
Russ#2173137

That’s for people who want to make a site to collect donations (Squarespace is a web host), not for people to make donations to charities via Squarespace.

It still does. Use Wayback Machine
