Our Verdict
You can check out earlier offers on these cards from earlier this year here and here. Basically, they go back and forth in the exact number of points bonus, in whether they add a free night, and whether they waive the annual fee. This deal brings back the Free Night on the no-fee card and the Surpass. It also increases the bonus from 175k to 200k on the Aspire.
Overall these are solid offers. We’ll add these to our list of the best credit card bonuses.
If anyone finds NLL links for these, let us know and we’ll add those in.
Hat tip to DDG

was this from an email, def NLL
They have to be coming soon I would think
If you spend $15K in a calendar year on Surpass, AmEx gives you a FNC even before the billing cycle closes. You can pay estimated quarterly income taxes to help you. That will give you 3 FNCs (or 4) for your trip. You can apply for both cards, but choose wisely as to which one you really need/want in case AmEx declines your second application. Also, time your apps to coincide with your trip, as the FNCs expire in 1 year. Don’t apply now if your trip is in October 2027.
Note: Aspire FNC takes 2 months to post after approval.
it posts first year
Does the Aspire FNC post on approval? or is it after the first year? Surpass seems to be the better deal at 1 FNC + 130,000 points vs. 200,000 points if Aspire FNC doesn’t post until after first year.
as someone who does not have any of hilton cards, what is the best strategy to accumulate as many points and use the fnc for fall 2027 japan trip? can you apply aspire and surpass at same time?
WOW this would be a total bummer for me. I skipped the free one so I could get the larger point bonuses earlier in the year.
Yep, can confirm I have done this already once with Aspire
Can you still get the NLL sub after having a LL card?
“ You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card or previous versions of this Card. ” 🙁
If you have never had Surpass, you can just apply for it. You can keep both cards at the same time. If you use someones referral link, they get some points too.
you can use chrome with PC mode instead of using smartphone
I already have hilton honors card and i want to get surpass card. I can only see upgrade options to my honors card in order to get surpass card. Is there any way around it? Will using someone referral works?
For hilton cards how soon after applying before you can verify with rep if bonus is attached? Also, I heard that they don’t have spending trackers for these co-branded cards?
Nice. Family of how many? All can stay in one room?
same with me
How???
Well, if Billy Bob, generally a low-effort type of guy if there ever was one, can rack up over one million Hilton points, what does that tell you?
s
How long do you have to wait between closing one and opening the next?
Can’t wait for the NLL links if they become available…Aspire is an excellent card and one of the easiest to justify the AF
I don’t believe you
Actually if you do it while logged into your HH account, it allows the 10 digits but if you go through the Amex link, it only allows 9 digits.
HH # is 10 digits. Biz app only allows 9 digits currently so app process is broken
my offer / Surpass upgrade to Aspire showing 200,000
closing a card does not affect Chase’s 5/24 rule. But, Amex generally limits a person to 5 credit cards (not charge cards) so if you have 5 credit cards you can close one and then apply for a new credit card.
Not sure what you mean

Just booked the Grand Wailea for next year with my FNC!
