Our Verdict

Offer was originally sent out via e-mail, but seems generic although it does ask you to login if you’re an existing customer. Much better than the current 70k + 100 XP offer, as it’s the same just with the option of the extra 30,000 bonus miles. Will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. If you want to apply for this card I’d recommend reading our post with all the things you should know about Bank of America credit cards first.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the additional 80 XP to post after reaching the $15k spend? Statement closed today, and I’m now past $15k spend for my card year, but while I see this month’s FB points posted, I see no additional XP. Does anyone have any experience with this?

does anyone know if there is a weclome bonus tracker for this card like for other bofa cards? activated the card a week ago and nothing

What is the best use for these points? I can’t find anything in business to or from US/ Europe for less than han 150k points and $350+ in fees

I applied today, was pending, then shortly thereafter I saw the new card account in my BOA account.

How many days will the new card bonus tracker pop up?

Similar question here. I currently hold this card and my sub posted back in June 2024. Do I need to close my current card in order to be eligible for 100,000 sub again? If so, how long should I wait between closing and opening?

BOA has AF no fee card? or you meant other BOA no fee cards? i couldn’t find any fee free AF card. thanks.

FYI–I called to cancel and they offered me a $175 statement credit if I spent $1500 in 90 days. That more than offset the AF.

Agreed; hotel credit + 15% award flight discount makes this a keeper for us (for now at least).

Just making sure, to get the 100K do you spend $7,500 or $10,500?

JA
Jacq#2374093

Yes, the fees are bad for Air France, so, this card is not worth it, imo.

JN

You’d have to fly to buy SAF credit, hence easy for people who fly

MO

Pending. are they good at reconsideration?

outrage fees tho. Book via ANA is better

Unless you have status (Flying Blue or SkyTeam), there is charge to advance select your award business seat up until check-in (24 or 30 hours before flight) when everyone can select their seat for free. If you do not make a selection you will be assigned a seat without a fee. This is not on all routes and the fee is variable based on the seat (front row suite vs standard seat).

Yes, hit MSR on first statement. Call and ask if they will move due date/statement close date. Might buy you a few days.

XP and FB points are two different beasts. The former bestows status, the latter can be used to purchase flights.

While I remain in pop up jail with Chase/Amex, I guess BoA still loves me. Instant approval !

Does anyone know when this offer expires?

DI

That card might be a keeper with $150 hotel credit

Has been really good for Delta domestic redemptions, esp when other availability was poor. Often <50% of the cost of DL skymiles for the same itinerary.

good for flying within Vietnam (Vietnam airlines partner)

It was along time ago, but they were less than 12 months apart. I did get a call from the rep, or I was asked to call in (I forget) and I explained that one will be for personal use and the other for business use. Then they issued the 2nd one. My experience was same as Matt below – I got the miles but not the XP.

AN
Andrew#2373616

that’s what I’m doing with my Delta gold biz card. 90k miles and then I’m out

ED
Ed#2373598

No, but this XP bonus gets you to silver status, which allows for free selection of standard seats.

https://wwws.airfrance.fr/en/information/offres/cartes-abonnement-air-france xp is part of the purchase benefits. It’s primarily aimed at business travelers with discounts on flights. There’s a main discount pass for higher price but cover Europe and north Africa, and 2xp extra for each flight. The overseas pass only cover French overseas territories, no extra xp per flight, but purchase and renewal benefits are the same, 20xp, 2500 to 5000 miles
