The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Bask Bank is offering a $300 bonus when you open a Bask Interest Savings Account and a Bask Interest Checking Account and complete the following requirements:
    • Maintain an Average Monthly Balance of at least $10,000 in your Bask Interest Savings Account.

    • Complete $2,500 or more in monthly Qualifying Automated Deposits to your Bask Interest Checking Account.

    • Maintain a Minimum Daily Balance of at least $100 in your Bask Interest Checking Account.

The Fine Print

  • Account Opening Period: October 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

  • Reward Period: Up to six consecutive statement periods following account opening

  • ELIGIBILITY This offer is available to new Bask Bank customers who open both a Bask Interest Savings Account and a Bask Interest Checking Account during the Account Opening Period. New account applications are subject to approval. Both accounts must remain open, active, and in good standing throughout the Reward Period. You are not eligible for this offer if you or any joint owner on either account, currently have or have closed a Bask Interest Savings or Interest Checking Account within the 12 months preceding October 1, 2026. If an account remains unfunded for 15 business days, Bask Bank reserves the right to close the account. Eligibility for Reward Period Participation: The Reward Period is determined when both qualifying Accounts are opened. Opening additional accounts does not create a new Reward Period or extend an existing Reward Period.

  • BONUS PAYOUT DETAILS No more than one Interest Checking Account and one Interest Savings Account per customer may receive promotional rewards during any statement period. APY Rate Boost: You will receive a 0.40% APY Rate Boost above the applicable variable base APY for each statement period in which you meet the qualifying requirements, for up to six consecutive statement periods during the Reward Period. The APY Rate Boost applies only to the portion of your Average Monthly Balance up to $250,000. Account balances above $250,000 will earn the then-current base APY. The base APY is variable and subject to change at any time without notice. Cash Bonus: You will receive a $50 Cash Bonus deposited into your Bask Interest Checking Account at the close of each statement period in which you meet the qualifying requirements, for up to six consecutive statement periods during the Reward Period. The maximum Cash Bonus is $300 per customer ($50 per qualifying statement period for up to six payments).

  • QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS Qualifying Automated Deposits must total $2,500 or more and post to the account on or before the 25th calendar day of the applicable month. These include electronic ACH deposits from the account owner’s employer, payroll provider, benefits provider or government agency via direct deposit or recurring transfers from an external bank. Check deposits, wire transfers, and peer-to-peer (P2P) payments (such as Zelle®, Venmo, PayPal or other P2P platforms) do not qualify. Internal transfers between Bask Bank accounts do not qualify. Multiple Qualifying Automated Deposits may be made during a statement period to meet the required amount. Average Monthly Balance Calculation is calculated by adding your available balance at the end of each calendar day in the statement period and dividing that sum by the total number of calendar days within the statement period. Minimum Daily Balance is based on your end-of-day ledger balance each day. You must maintain a Minimum Daily Balance of at least $100 in your Bask Interest Checking Account throughout the applicable statement period to meet the qualifying requirements.

  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

This account has no monthly fees to worry about.

Early Account Termination Fee

Unclear if there is any EATF.

Our Verdict

A lot of readers won’t be eligible due to doing the previous $300 savings bonus. Savings account earns 4.3% when meeting the requirements, this is somewhat competitive with the top high yield accounts currently. Hard to know if it’s worth waiting for a better bonus from bask or if it makes sense to just go for this one instead. Seems like they offer a new one every 12 months or so but the new exclusion language means you’ll only really be eligible for one every 24 months. We will add this to our list of the best bank bonuses for now.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

If we have the Bask Mileage Savings (AAdvantage), are we still eligible for this? Eligibility terms only call out interest checking & savings.

It’s >10% effective APY. There are lots of worse places to park $10k. And it’s $10k average monthly balance, not minimum. You can still “borrow” from that $10k for DDs or whatever as long as you keep the average up.

Anyone else told they need to contact them after submitting an application? Just wondering what information they want (if anyone has called).

Applied, instantly approved. Chex lol/12.

I think the DDs are actually ACH. “… or recurring transfers from an external bank.” I plan on opening it and transferring money to the checking then moving it to CineFi savings.

I also opened a savings account before closing my checking account, but if they keep offering promotions that require a checking and savings combo, I guess I’ll have to close the savings account too.

When you factor in interest from savings it’s over $500. Not that bad really but I’m concerned about the data breach.

I had a problem with Bask a couple of year ago, but I don’t remember the details. Something about transfers as I recall.

2500/mo it doesnt have to be DD. ACH would do as per terms “These include electronic ACH deposits from the account owner’s employer, payroll provider, benefits provider or government agency via direct deposit or recurring transfers from an external bank. Check deposits, wire transfers, and peer-to-peer (P2P) payments (such as Zelle®, Venmo, PayPal or other P2P platforms) do not qualify.”

Isn’t it 12 months, not 24 months for eligibility?

Any DPs for what qualifies as a Qualifying Automated Deposits?

10.3% APY for 6 months seems pretty solid…

MI
Minnu#2428646

Not worth for 300$. They need to remove savings requirement

CU

Bask Bank had a data breach and gave my info to hackers, but I learned about it from a third party before hearing from the bank directly. Not interested in dealing with them again.

We thought we were being slick by opening a savings account to avoid another Chex hit. Granted, this bonus does kinda suck.

TO
Tony#2428600

But the 10k would be earning a current 4.30% APY if I’m reading it correctly, and that’s up there with the highest HYSA rates currently. So I think it’s worth it if you can tie up that amount for 6 months

KI
kiki#2428592

This one is really rough for the payout. So if I’m reading this correctly, not only do you need the direct deposits, but you have to keep $10,000 in there for 6 months since it only gives you $50/mo at a time? (Plus another $100 in checking)? Not worth IMO.
