Our Verdict
We just saw a $1,500 after $15,000 in spend offer. Given the card itself earns 2% cash back, that offer is significantly better although I guess not everybody can meet that spend requirement. Capital One pulls all 3 bureaus on applications. Check out these Things To Know about Capital One Credit Cards. The version of the Spark card does get reported to the credit bureaus (only the Plus version does not get reported).
Approved for the Spark Classic with no bonus but not for this one. Very sneaky CapitalOne
My account C1 account shows that after rebranding my existing Spark card became Business card. If that’s the case, do I have any luck applying for this card?
Probably good if you play the miles game. Not everyone does.
the Venture Business has the same offer with a $95 AF, but doesn’t report to personal credit bureaus. Personally I’d do that to save a 5/24 slot.
I don’t understand how Cap One can do that. If it reports to your personal credit line, it’s a consumer card.

I had two hard pulls on my credit report from this card, the Business Spark Cash, impacting my 5/24.
Yes you can.You can even do it under the same LLC. I applied under the same LLC. One in Aug 2025 and the second in Sept 2025. I received the bonus on both.

This is the one damn biz card I can’t seem to get for the life of me, even though they can’t seem to give me enough consumer cards. Super frustrating. Cap One makes no sense. 🤷♂️

Does anyone know if you can apply with a different ‘EIN’ or a ‘2nd business’ if you already have this card, would you be eligible? I know I see the terms it says current and past holders aren’t eligible…
But is it the same spark cash card as in OP? I ask because I have a new EIN for a seperate business and I’m considering applying but the “one time’ bonus scares me, spending 10K on purchases and finding out, you’re not eligible .

Alex L , The word is may . It is very vague. I was told some time ago that it means that that you will not get it if you got a reward within the previous year (at that time I got the reward). I can’t get a straight answer now…
They approved me for this card when I had a score around 800. It kinda seems like Spark Cash is easier to get approved for than other Capital One cards, but I have limited data points. They rejected me for Venture, though that was a few years ago.
