Our Verdict

Best offer in the past was back in 2023 at 100,000 points; we also recently had 75,000 + $250. This new offer for 75,000 + $300 is solid and many will find it interesting. Offer is available via referral link as well, so you can help out a friend by applying that way.

Read these things everybody should know about Capital One cards. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. Please do not share your referrals in the comments below, they can be shared in this linked post.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

I used to agree as I have never been approved for one with a high credit score but P2 got a Quicksilver earlier this year with a higher score than me.

I’m convinced Capital One prefers giving offers to people with worse credit intentionally. I’ve seen too much anecdotal data to prove this.

Not showing up in referrals for me.

JC
jcb#2412488

yea I seem to never be eligible for their upper tier cards. No problem getting quicksilvers, venture one or any of the business cards

I wanted 2 hard pulls before, not again.

My wife has lower score than me and much less cards too. We checked our eligibility and no surprise; she is eligible while I am not. lol

My score is 850+. I don’t know my current card count but I’m sure I’m over 4/24 probably closer to 6/24. I already have venture x. Had venture card for years before I got rid of it.

i really like this card would get it if it wasn’t Capital One.

I have had Capital One lock my profile for unreported reasons similar to the BS from American Express. Citi wont give me anymore accounts or AA miles as ive had 6 cards in the past. Chase still treats me like a valuable customer.

How would you know if someone has used your referral? Would you get a notice from Capital One every time someone has signed up using your link?

VI
Vino#2409787

I was never approved for this card, I already have CSR and Amex Plat but denied twice for COF Venture.

TH
Thelen#2409774

I’ve applied for this card like 2 times with 800+ credit and 750+ credit each time under the 5/24 (I know that is chase), but at this point I think they really only give it to people who have a high score with only a few credit cards.

MA
mariaprel#2409626

they don’t. Long term checking account, no approval for travel cards. I have a Spark

BI
Bill#2409557

yes this keeps happening to me. Its shady because some people might just click accept because the product names are very similar.

BI
Bill#2409555

Trying to apply for this and every time I fill out the information after making sure this offer is on my screen it keeps giving me the venture one card at the end. Feels like bait and switch. Am I missing something?

JC
JC#2409523

I have the same question and I asked AI it said don’t do it.

NI
Nickm#2409491

Prob, not for cash back but if there’s giftcards you can find on sale. I let the wife use most on wayfair. Baby stuff or clothes stores, not for everyone tho.

CH
Chris#2409477

Agreed. Applied and was approved first try. Also, no other accounts with them. Only debt is a $12K car loan.

BN

C1 generally likes their banking customers. Try that route with a small bank balance if you haven’t already.

ZE
zeer0#2409408

Anyone get approved for this after not seeing a pre-approval? Cap1 only ever shows me the secured cards on pre-approval even though great credit, etc. lol

CU
Curmudgeon#2409390

Not sure about that. I’ve got multiple cap one cards. No debt outside mortgage, no late payments

JA
Jason#2409199

I opened my VX when it was first announced, so it’s been over 4 years. I believe Captial one added this 48 month rules about 1 year ago.

We will set one up at some point, be patient please.

Please do not break the site rules by posting referral links, it doesn’t matter where they come from.

RO

I also want to go this route for the same reason.

CH

Aren’t there family rules? If you’ve earned the Venture X bonus within the last 48 months then you can’t get any of the lower tier Venture SUBs
