Our Verdict

$200 is the standard Prime Day offer. We did once see it for higher at $250. It’s an interesting offer due to the lack of any spend requirement. We’ve added this to our main Prime Day 2026 page.

Might be possible to use a friend’s referral link (instead of going through the public link) and then your friend will also get $50.

There’s also a $250 bonus on the Amazon Business card from U.S. Bank.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Hey does anyone have any expiriance on churning this card ? I got the bonus when I opened 8 months ago. I tried finding any rules in fine print of terms and conditions but wasn’t able to find anything on bonus eligibility. Anyone please help!

Thanks Doc! P2 just got the card and $200 and I got the referral credit of $50!

You can sign up for a month, see the offer, accept it, then cancel prime after you’re approved and get a refund, I guess. The refund is automatic when you cancel within 2-3 days.

Passing. Wasn’t $250 like last year. Maybe next time.

The free trial that I received from the Prime Day event is still good for a week or so longer. I’m just not sure if I should wait until Black Friday because I no longer have anything to purchase on Amazon (that I know of) AND I assume that the two deals currently offered now will be even better during Black Friday. Hopefully, I can get another free Prime trial, unless it is limited to one free trial per year. What do you think?

What if there’s no free trial available? Account used to have Prime a few years ago (idc to make a new account; this account has some gift cards loaded up already. Don’t want to complicate things with multiple accounts with varying gc amounts). Do I just need to suck it up and pay for a month of Prime, and THEN be able to see the $200 gc offer via the link instead of the current issue of only seeing “6 months of Prime on approval” as the offer?

You should be able to buy one month of Prime for like $15/month and get the offer now

That’s the problem. Chase usually doesn’t like to give out credit on new cards if your total revolving credit is more or very close to your annual salary.

EEEEAAAASSSSYYYY MONEY! Instant Approval and $200.00 added to my account!

Thank you, id4tx. Yes, I see the $200 offer after signing up the Prime free trial.

You need to have Prime already, which you can get a free trial usually.

Got a prime free 30-day trial. Approved the 3rd card today; got 200 to the Amazon account. I will close it soon. So I churn it for the 2nd time, once a year.

took a chance at 6/24 instant approval $200 added to GC balance

The link shows no $200 but “ Get 6 months of Prime on approval”. Any other link? Thanks

Applied an approved instantly, but only for a $500 limit lol. Lowest I’ve ever had since my secured credit card 20 years ago. Anyone know when I can request an increase on this? 150k income and total credit across all cards is about $140k … or is that the problem?

DoC’s note says that doesn’t seem to be the case: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-amazon-card-not-subject-to-5-24-rules/

What’s the best way to proceed, if I missed this for Prime Day? Should I wait until Black Friday to get both the Visa Prime card and the US Bank business card? I don’t have a business, but I’m not sure that matters since these are both no annual fee cards?

ER
EricPost#2362428

Signed up and was instantly approved, which was a bit of a shock as the last two times I tried, I was declined and Chase sent me a letter saying my credit history was too recent. Which itself is odd as my credit reports go back to 1987. Anyway with the approval the gift card was immediately loaded and the credit card was added to my Amazon payments.

I got it while on the free trial of prime if you don’t keep the prime subscription they will convert it to the regular Amazon visa

I’ve received this 3 times. Only reason I am not going for a fourth is because I have too many other cards in the past 12 mos to get approved.

PA
paul#2362362

how did you get the monthly fee waived?

AD
Adam#2358227

Applied on Saturday. Received an email asking me to sign a tax id confirmation statement. Received notification that I was approved for a $4900 limit on Tuesday. I have not seen the $200 gift card show up yet on my Amazon account. The credit card and waived Prime monthly fee is showing up on my Amazon account ($14.99 waived through December 2026). No $200 gift card is showing up though,,,, Even though it is supposedly issued “instantly” upon approval??

AL
Alex#2354254

no, you do not need membership .i just got $200 without Prime membership

Cancelled, re-applied and not approved. Thank you for applying.Unfortunately, your application for Prime Visa could not be approved by Chase.Chase will notify you in writing about the decision in 30 days. Thank you for applying.

Do all the current card promos stack? For example, if I have Prime, can I refer myself (or P2)? If so, would I be able to get all three credits? Namely, the referral credit, the $200 gift card and the $120 cash/credit?

I had this card twice in the past. I don’t have Amazon prime and I don’t want to buy anything so far. Did anybody churn it 3 times? Do you still see 200 if you have prime? I’m thinking if I should get prime to churn this offer.

The issue I have had is when one bank cuts your credit, the others may follow and that can hurt your credit score. Not saying this will happen but monitor your scores for awhile to see you’re not getting credit limits cut without you being aware on other cards.
