Chase announced the Sapphire Reserve for Business card will add a cap to the 3x earnings on social media and search engine advertising. Previously there was no limit, but beginning on November 15, 2026, there will be a limit to spend of $1M per cardholders which resets each card anniversary year.
This negative change was announced alongside the positive change to The Edit credit being increased to $1,000 per year. I haven’t found any direct link from Chase regarding this change; the news was sent out broadly to media outlets.
Not really gone. They’re probably just eliminating the 0.1% most unprofitable customers– some business whales charging $20-30M a year in ad spend.
