Seems like a good bonus but only available in a very small geographical area, we will add this to the highly restricted bank bonus list.

Opened the account in West Hartford branch today. Although they did not allow debit/credit card funding – it was a strict cash-only funding
When I applied last year for a different promo I was approved online with Chex inquiries 1/1, 1/2, 3/3, 7/6, 14/12, 24/24, 29 total. In-footprint. Based on my notes, the application went pending and asked for photo ID and proof of address (asked for lease, tax bill, or utility; I put a credit card bill which was accepted). You can look for this preemptively in the Application Status Center . No request for biometrics I don’t think. The next business day they sent me an email with documents to sign via Docusign, which also had the account number(s). The promo code box I think was a bit hidden — it was in a dropdown menu in the account selection page. I also tried applying for another account as an existing customer with Chex frozen about 10 months later and was asked to unfreeze.
