Guys, please stop making comments that indicate you have a $175/$150 link. The comments on the referral page have been closed for a reason. I understand you want to get money from referrals but this sort of behavior needs to stop or we will simply stop letting people have their website attached to their name and possibly stop referrals all together.
People often complain about bloggers pushing their affiliate links, but some of you are no better. I shouldn’t need to treat you like children.

Fidelity as Someone Else doesn’t work as a DD for Current. Been there, done that.
Try small credit unions with a memo field for external transfers. Atlantic Union Bank, Orion Financial. Try Fidelity as someone else, or schedule month so that transfers show up as PPD
Anyone know what works to trigger 4% APY as a direct deposit? I tried Relay Business checking and although the memo says Direct Dep I am still only making 0.25%
William Charles P2 was targeted with an increased referral bonus of $200 until 10/1/26. P1 did not get it so definitely targeted. P2 has been doing regular DDs into Current for a few months so likely why they were targeted. “You each will get $200 when they receive Eligible Payroll Deposits of at least $1500 within their first 35 days of opening an account.”
PeteyPablo Followed these steps and failed for me, looks like they’ve already patched C1.

If you have Cap 1 Biz available I just had success today with it triggering the “DD100” existing customer promo FWIW. Cap 1 Biz acct belonged to P1 making an ACH Payroll Payment to P2’s Current account with “Payroll DD DIRECTDEP” in the memo. Took about 3 hours to land into P2’s acct during Pacific (PST) business hours and triggered the reward ~30 minutes later.
You can schedule the transfer from Wise for another day in the future and it should go through. Saw the same thing, and it was probably trying to send RTP, causing the kickback. However, in my P3’s case, Wise did not work as a DD and DID NOT trigger the Current App bonus.
I am unable to send money from wise, it gets declined by Current or sth.
I tried to send money from my Wise main account (USD) to the current account and it says it should arrive in seconds but then says “We sent the money to the bank but it was sent back to us, we’ll try again in 16 hours”. And when trying to select an connected account as my sender, wise says i need to use the bank itself to send USD to USD and can’t do it from wise. Anybody facing this issue? This is my first time using Wise to send money.
I did use a Wise business account, I don’t know if there’s a difference but its in the send option when you first log in.
So did you send me money to someone else or did you just select that? And send the money to your current bank ?
I am trying to send money through wise and it always sends RTP. The option for ACH is disabled. Please let me know how did you send it?
