Update 9/1/26: Reportedly, the special bonuses for WF Premier members are now expired. Another update: readers in the comments are saying the 100k Autograph is still around, so I guess only the $500 Active Cash is gone.

We wrote about the increased offer that Wells Fargo relationship Premier members are getting in-branch for the Autograph Journey card. Reader David notes that these are available online by applying when signed in. And that there are also other increased offers:
- Wells Fargo Autograph Journey 100,000 – discussed prior
- Wells Fargo Active Cash – get $500 cash rewards bonus when you spend $500 in purchases in the first 3 months. That’s in place of the regular $200 bonus public offer.
- vanilla Journey card – get 50,000 bonus points when you spend $1000 in purchases in the first 3 months. That’s in place of the regular 20,000 points offer.

The $500 bonus with $500 spend is excellent, if you’re willing to add a personal card to your credit report.
Yes. I enjoyed a free stay at a highly-rated Quality Inn, in Estes Park Colorado, using Choice points that I converted from WF. The rate that way was definitely better than converting WF points to cash and booking the Choice room with cash.
T&C for bonuses for WF cards in the Autograph family require a four-year wait between bonuses, for a particular product. I’m ineligible for several bonuses for that reason, but WF nevertheless shows me ads for the bonuses. You might be able to get a second Autograph-family card of the same type (I haven’t tried that, and no reason to do so) but I wouldn’t hold out much hope for the bonus.

Does anyone know if Wells fargo still waives the monthly fee for premier client for first 6 months? i can’t seem to find that wording anymore
Did you hold the 250K balance or was your fee waived? I’m seeing mixed reports about fee being waived first 6mo’s even with small balances
Instantaneously, not even a log out/log in required. App immediately showed 100k offer. Uncertain for 6mo free, but ‘banking’ on it – horrible pun intended. We’ll find out in a month, figure I can ask away the first $35 anyhow.
