Update 8/4/26: If you completed this deal check your dashboard as it’s likely you need to submit more information to qualify. Dashboard now states:
Must read: Important update on Ivy Bank reward eligibility
A processing issue in our July 15, 2026 eligibility check marked some qualifying members as ineligible. No rewards have been issued yet, and we’re reviewing affected accounts so that everyone who qualifies is paid on schedule.
If you’ve already received an email or decision from our team, you don’t need to do anything. Your case is already being tracked as part of this review — please don’t send a new request. It might cause delays in the review.
If you believe you were marked ineligible in error, first log in to your Finder Member account and check whether the Ivy Bank reward appears on your Rewards page. If it doesn’t appear there, we have no record of your application coming through Finder, and tracking can’t be reconstructed after the fact.
If it does appear, send one email to usrewards@finder.com from the address associated with your Finder account, using the subject line Ivy Bank Reward Review – [your Finder email address]. Include all four of the following:
The email address associated with both your Finder account and your Ivy Bank accountYour full name, exactly as it appears on both accountsA screenshot of your Ivy Bank account opening confirmationA screenshot showing your first qualifying deposit of $2,500 or more — your account transaction history or a bank statement both workDates must be clearly visible in every screenshot — we can’t verify undated screenshots, or ones where you can’t be identified, and we’ll have to send those back to you, which delays your review. You can redact any information that isn’t relevant to confirming this qualification.
Inquiries received after August 10, 2026 may not be processed in time for the fulfillment date, so please submit as soon as possible. We’ll give you an update before the fulfillment date, and approved rewards will be issued on Monday, August 17, 2026. Full eligibility criteria are in the promotion terms and conditions.

Our Verdict
A lot of readers won’t be eligible as they signed up for the Ivy Bank treasury account (look back period is not being a customer in the last 20 years). Bonus seems very easy to meet the requirement for. Finder usually has a cap on how many people can do the bonus (they update when the cap is hit). I’d be surprised if this doesn’t hit that cap quickly, so if you’re interested I’d recommend signing up ASAP. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.
Ivy Bank earns 3.85% APY, not as high as the current best savings rates but somewhat competitive.
If you do apply, please let us know in the comments below (trying to make sure everything is tracking correctly for the charity).

Thanks to Shirley Liu and Finder Team. My Ivy Bank reward finally came through after submitting documentation again. I may consider Finder offers going forward.
I got a message from finder asking me to give them the sub account number for my IVY account, that they use this number to verify my account rather than re-uploading screenshots and screen recorder I never heard of a sub account number nor do I see one in the app. A quick online search says that a sub account typically contains two to four digits Does anyone know anything about this?🤷
Yeah, I ended up getting it on September 3.
Submitted all evidence before deadline – in fact much earlier – but there was no response, no update, even after two reminders. Finders denied the bonus for Consumers Credit Union as well. The deadline was June 8. I opened the account on June 6 (Saturday) which was approved on June 8 and I immediately funded it. It cleared on June 9. I suppose they are using this technicality to not honor the bonus. Fine. But there is NO reason to not honor IVY Bank offer. I guess their business model is to deny and let the user give up. Oh well… Have unsubscribed to their emails. Lesson learned.
Thanks, got mine also.
Alex Dan finally received $200 gift card today after emails sent 7/30/26, 8/20/26, and 8/31/26. Received a response 9/2/26 after the 3rd email.
Redeemable as of this morning
Same question. Considering loading a gift card balance onto Amazon or use it on Paypal. Let us know what you have success with.
Received the $200 card finally today. Was anyone able to liquidate it by Cashapp or Paypal reload or something else?
Received the gift card. I’ll probably end up closing my Ivy Bank account considering there’s other options for a high APY.
This morning I received an email from Finder that my reward was ready to claim. Claimed the reward on the Finder website and then the reward was emailed to me. Dealing with Finder was definitely a hassle, but if they had a similar promotion with another online bank with similar terms ( fairly small deposit required/ modest hold period and decent interest rate ) I would certainly take a shot at it.
Update: I was one of the “lucky” ones who submitted evidence during the first round but never heard back. Emailed again after they posted the update that everyone should have been taken care of. Never heard after that email either. This Monday I sent several emails (forwards of previous emails, new email from different email address, etc) trying again. Got an email back they were reviewing that night just after midnight. Got an email this morning that my reward was waiting. Was able to redeem the gift card and get card info (haven’t used it yet but looks fine). So there is hope, just took forever with poor communication.
Finally got the $200 card just now
We’re now moving forward with processing your payment. Your payment will be sent by close of day on September 3, 2026 . Wow I guess they are waiting until the “last” day (nevermind payment was actually due 2+ weeks ago) Finder sucks!
Same boat. They will not respond. What is our recourse?
Yes, also still waiting. Not sure what recourse we have at this point. Many emails sent. No response from them.
anyone else still waiting for a response from Finder? Still shows ineligible for me. Sent 3 emails with requested info.
I finally got the same approval from Ivy. Perhaps stupidly I had already transferred out the balance before I finally got a response (I moved it after the 3rd email I sent with no response before finally figuring I should send a 4th- which was the charm). That said it’s still open with about $1 in it.
I got my payout. Did you get anything?
Sent a repeat email & got a response saying they’d put in a claim with Ivy Bank. Today got an email that claim was approved and that it would be ready to redeem by end of day 9/3.
Status in dashboard finally changed to “Application approved” today. Did not get the September 3rd communication from Finder. As for the account, I’m keeping it open with all the money in there until I have that gift card in my grubby little hands. Done with Finder though.
My dashboard changed to “Not eligible” a month ago. Sent documents the same day and never followed up. A week ago, Finder reached out asking for my customer ID (which is in the deposit details in the statement). I answer immediately. Today, I get: “Thank you for your continued patience. Great news! We’ve received a response from our banking partner, and your reward has been confirmed. We’re now moving forward with processing your payment. Your payment will be sent by close of day on September 3, 2026. Your dashboard status will update to “Ready to Claim” once your reward has been processed, so please keep an eye on it.” What is everyone doing the account now? Closing or keeping it?
Status changed to “sign-up confirmed” on 8/27 and today on 8/28, received an email that my payment will be sent by close of day on September 3, 2026.
Same
received my $200 virtual visa today. They did not lie about payment on Aug. 28. Yay!
Anyone else got their payment today?
8/28 Gift card claimed!
What email are people using and having success communicating with finder?
Ready to Claim button works, already claimed.
Just got the same update email/status.
