“didn’t have many requirements” is such an understatement haha. A single $1 direct deposit would qualify.
In-branch in Kansas City Metro only, which only has one branch now: Prairie Village, KS. Anyone doing this bonus must go that specific location to sign up.
$250 Bonus finally posted today on day 120. It was a long wait but it really didn’t have many requirements so I can’t complain.
And it does seem that if not 120 days, pretty close to it!
I am not concerned, just curious if anyone who actually opened before me got the bonus- wasn’t sure if they really make you wait the full 120 days since I am almost there. I don’t see any reason why I wouldn’t qualify for it- and I know the way it was worded it seems only one DD was needed, but I didn’t have a compelling reason to change DD right now. Most of the bonus I am and was working has DP for triggering via business accounts and so I didn’t have to make any changes for a few months.
terms say that only one DD is needed. I did a single $50 real DD and called it good. My 120th day isn’t for a couple more months so I cannot provide any type of confirmatory DP. Bonus should be paid within 30 days of meeting qualifications (which includes account being in good standing for 90 days). if you don’t get the bonus by Aug 20th (121st day) then you may have an issue. i wouldn’t be worried just yet.
Curious if anyone has received the bonus yet, I think I may have been one of the earliest people to open this account, but I may be wrong. I opened back on 4/21 in branch and obviously day 90 came and gone on 7/19. I am getting very close to day 120 which is on 8/18 if I counted my days correctly, and haven’t seen the bonus yet. I am using real employer payroll DD and have kept it active (deposit only $100/pay period) since I enrolled the account.
neither.
William Charles emailed you the full terms and photo in case that is helpful for readers.
Offer has been extended to 12/31/2026. Opened in branch and no hard pull. William Charles , please update the post. Thanks,
Bank denied me in June but when I asked about it I was told they weren’t sure why and suggested I reapply. Forgot about it for a while, then went in branch yesterday to open account. I think they’re mildly sensitive to Chex since the rep said “looks like you’ve opened a few accounts recently” and wanted to know why. Told her I was looking for a new bank (to pay me bonuses of course). No credit pull since mine’s frozen and they didn’t ask about it. To earn the interest on this account (a mediocre 2.01%) requires 12 debits, one direct deposit/ACH each month.
They do pull Chex.
Hi Curmudgeon , have you had a chance to see if they pull chex? or did you have it frozen? Thanks!
do they pull chex? HP?

Hard pull ? Credit card funding?
Some data points since they are scarce, I opened this back in Apri and my Chex is pretty terrible but it didn’t seem to be an issue.
This offer is only for the KC Metro Area so like the Springfield, MO branches won’t be able to do it William Charles
