Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Not glad they have been merging. Never heard until now a credit union having an annual fee card.

Between my P1 & P2, both having two Amz accounts, we can usually cover every few months with Prime promos that are free or discount trials, conveniently happening around Prime Day & Black Friday. I will most likely not keep the card at $95, but I have until May to think about it.

eek, if that’s true, bye bye Navy Flagship.

For me, it’s the main reason to keep it – though now I am only plus $45. 😕

Technically NFCU did not add the fee. They increased it from $49 (reasonable) to $95, which is hard to justify, unless you were going to pay full price for Prime ($139) anyway.

Upgrade offer clarifies that you can keep existing card with Prime and 2x at $95 AF: https://www.navyfederal.org/loans-cards/credit-cards/flagship-upgrade.html

Site confirms Amazon Prime and 2% catch all remains if you don’t upgrade the card. No new benefits, but increased annual fee as of 11/2/2026, but if you already paid before that date, you won’t get the increased fee until the next renewal.

Anyone talked to navy and confirmed if existing customers are keeping the prime credit or not???

PenFed removed a way to waive the $95 fee on their existing card, which is functionally similar, but feels different

I got the email and have read the unofficial reports. But as of this writing, no changes in benefits or rewards earning appear on the NFCU website that I can find.

This link says the Amazon Prime benefit is being removed.

I don’t see a “New” Flagship page. It’s 4 AM on the 10th and the Flagship page still reads $49 annual fee. Do you have a link? I did get the email referenced here.

they must be copying PenFed they just added a 95 fee to their existing card

QU

Honestly I prefer this to having the free Amazon Prime and 2% cash back taken away. Sounds like those will last at least another year.

reading it will be grandfathered in reddit, But if not I have no use of this CC https://upgradedpoints.com/news/navy-federal-flagship-premier-card-refresh/

The option is either to accept the $95 fee or cancel the credit card.

hoping there won’t be a forced PC into the new version

BO

Do existing members get the new benefits?

RA

Also note the new flagship page says prime yearly benefit is recurring. but also NFCU doesnt waive fee for any military.

RA
Raymond 🔗#2409203

it is not immediate. I think it takes effect only in 2027 for existing cardholders Annual Fee. We’re changing your annual fee amount. Your account currently has a $49 annual fee. When your annual fee is charged on Month DD, 2027, the fee will be $95.
