The Offer

The Fine Print
- $300 Incentive: This offer is available to any member who opens either a QPlus or QClassic checking account and makes direct deposits to this account totaling $1,000 or more within 60 days of account opening.
- The direct deposit must be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government.
- Person-to-Person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered a direct deposit.
- Micro-deposits, which are typically less than $1 and are used for account ownership verification purposes, do not qualify as a direct deposit.
- This offer is limited to one incentive per member, regardless of the number of accounts opened. Members who are current owners of any QPlus or QClassic checking account, or those who have closed a QPlus or QClassic checking account within the past 12 months, are not eligible for this offer.
- Members who are switching from any existing Quorum checking account to QClassic or QPlus are also not eligible to receive this incentive.
- Incentive Payment: The $300 incentive will be deposited into your new account within 15 business days of meeting the qualifying criteria.
- The enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout.
- The incentive is considered a dividend and will be reported as income to the IRS.
- Members are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- Offer availability subject to change at any time without notice.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I found no mention of any early account termination fee in their fee schedule.
Eligibility
To be eligible, must join either 1) American Consumer Council (no fee), or 2) the Select Savers Club ($5 fee, note that Quorum will pay this fee). You can sign up for either of these during the application process.
Quorum membership is established through the creation of a Basic Savings account with a $5 minimum balance. This account is opened automatically and funded with a $5 deposit by us when your application is approved.
Our Verdict
They offered a similar bonus in 2017 but without the direct deposit requirement. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses, I can’t imagine it will last long.

JUst got the bonus after contacting CS 3 days ago. moved almost all money to savings account.
Bonus posted on 10/3 after ticket put in via chat support on 9/29. Timeline was: 8/12/26 – HighQ savings opened, $10 funding. 8/12/26 – QClassic checking opened, via online banking pop-up bonus offer, $5 funding. 8/14/26 – $100 direct deposit to QClassic checking from Chase Biz. 8/14/26 – Opened a CD, funded $100 from QClassic checking. 8/18/26 – $5,000 direct deposit to QClassic checking from Chase Biz. 8/26/26 – $4,000 transferred from QClassic checking to external account. 8/27/26 – $1,000 transferred from QClassic checking to HighQ savings. 9/29/26 – Bonus ovrdue, used chat to have rep enter a ticket for the bonus. 10/3/26 – Bonus posted. P2 with similar stats hasn’t received overdue bonus yet. No support ticket filed, so I can conclude that the manual support ticket was what got the bonus to post.
Bonus came in today! Full timeline for posterity: 8/12 – Opened Savings with $20. Saw the $300 offer and opened checking same day. 8/18 – $501 Relay transfer to checking to test to see how it coded. Withdrew all but $1 8/25 – $5001 Relay transfer to checking then transferred to savings 9/25 – No bonus 30 days after last qualifying deposit 9/30 – Chatted with rep who said it would be manually credited it 2-3 days 10/3 – $300 “Opening Bonus” deposit to checking
Correct. You do not have to keep the funds in any of the accounts.
I opened savings then checking but no bonus here either. Did 2 Relay DDs with the last one being 8/25. If I don’t see a bonus by Tuesday I’ll send a SM.
Damn!
This was the ACH Employee DD that costs $2.50/transaction. Additionally, I checked just now and just like John Doe I was double paid the $300 bonus, once on 9/14/26 and again on 9/15/26. Not sure if they will attempt clawback, but I’m moving the money out ASAP. 9/14/26 – Opening Bonus $300 9/15/25 – OPENING BONUS $300
I think Chase standard ACH push cost $2.5 per transaction. Are you referring to the free “transfer”?
Opened for p1 and p2 push standard ACH from p1’s Chase business checking to Quorum for both p1 and p2 the transaction at p1 show as uncharacterized the transaction at p2 show as salary still waiting for bonus. It has not reach the 1 month mark yet.
Does anyone have a copy of the bonus terms or disclosure?
My first relay posted as :Paychecks/Salary The next 2 posted as :Uncategorized what is going on !?!
thanks for the info. I will wait and see, then report back
Early deposit right? So if I get paid on Friday it’ll probably show overnight two days before? So tomorrow morning? Just curious because it felt weird giving workday the long ass micr number lol also hope I remembered to remove the dash…
Relay posted as CCD ACH and coded as Paychecks/Salary.
Yes, a little after midnight. Don’t even waste your time. Anything after the 12th is pretty much SOL unless someone was sent disclosures.
Still waiting a bit… I’ll report back once my discussion with them is finalized. As of now, they indicated it ended the evening of 8/12.
What did you find out?
Opened a savings account and got the pop-up for checking a day after they removed the HELOC offer, but they’re saying it expired before I joined. It seems the pop-up kept working for a while after they removed the terms from the HELOC page. Hope this isn’t a mess for all of us who did the savings and then checking option.
No $300 pop up today after logging into the online account, both desktop and mobile
Thanks for the insight Gadget! I was going to tag you but know you’re probably pinged on all kinds of different threads.
Successfully did P1/P2 on the 12th but it was kinda glitchy during checking signup. Got 2 different screenshots of the offer. Just messaged in chat to make sure offer was applied and they initially said the offer has expired. Explained I signed up 2 days ago while it was active and popping up and wanted to make sure it was applied to account. Ticket was opened and said I will have a reply within a few days to follow up as it needed to be further investigated. Sounds kinda sketch. Others have said below the chat rep confirmed it was applied, and even one did it manually after noticing it wasn’t active on account. Will see what ticket message says later on.
Just tried to open everything to see what would happen. Savings ✅ Online banking ✅ Pop up on mobile app ❌ Pop up on mobile browser ❌ [both were for their high savings %] Pop up on desktop $300 offer ✅. Took a screenshot. Created checking account successfully. ✅ Will confirm in the morning via chat that everything looks good.
Pop-up appeared for me tonight
I didn’t monitor comments yesterday and appears I missed out. Go figure they shut it down. Totally unexpected. /s
Because the Chex pull was on the same day, from same entity, via the same method of application (online vs in-person vs. phone), it should merge after a day or two. However, sometimes the back office/fraud weenies pull Chex as a follow-up, and it sticks. Dispute it after a week, or after you get the bonus, if you want to be super safe.
If anyone else who signs up for the savings account as of 8/13 and has this pop-up appear too, please let us know
Anyone have a link to the screenshot of the $300 banner? Been doing this long enough to suspect they might not honor this
Fro earlier DPs the only thing that really worked was real DD. If they don’t close my accounts I’ll try Relay and see if it works.
Was able to get P1 and P2 approved successfully through savings first then checking. Took screenshots of the $300 pop up, and even on the account opening tab that stated $300 bonus in upper hand corner. See if they try and close our accounts.
I opened two checking accounts (p1 & p2) but don’t remember seeing an option to add the promotion explicitly – did I miss something?
