F.A.Q’s
Can you hold the Robinhood gold card and Robinhood Platinum?
No, during live stream they said you have to upgrade gold to platinum. Gold card is useful so this is disappointing.
Will there be a sign up bonus?
Unknown currently.
Do the credits stack each month?
No, they are use it or lose it.
Do authorized users get access to benefits?
Only paid authorized users do (unknown cost) and they only get access to certain benefits:
- Wellness Benefits
- Function Health annual membership
- Amazon One Medical annual membership
- Oura membership
- Travel Benefits
- Priority Pass Select membership
- Global Entry/TSA PreCheck reimbursement
When will it be available?
They said first 15,000 after end of keynote will get an offer for the card.
Our Verdict
What I don’t like:
At first glance I said wow this is amazing but some of the credits are ridiculously difficult to use. For example the $50 minimum spend on DoorDash is bad enough but the fact it’s two $10 credits (three in December) is crazy. Hotel credit is only available on luxury properties. Earning rates look good until you realize it’s only on travel booked through the Robinhood portal and that seems to be overpriced.
What I do like:
- 5% back on dining is very nice
- $300 travel credit is great as it doesn’t need to be booked through Robinhood portal, shame it’s two $150 credits instead of a flat $300 credit but that is minor.

To my understanding RHGC has never offered CLI requests and support has always said they cannot assist it is system analyzed and automatic.
I love going out with “dinner’s on me” people. Also: I imagine MI6 makes Bond carry a Coutts Silk card, keeps it all British.
Likely duplicative of other comments: I have RH Gold Card with $10k CL, other cards w/ several multiples of that each. I was told by customer service that they are not accepting any CL increase requests on Gold Card “until they complete the Platinum rollout.” They also confirmed that mid-month paydowns of o/s balance will restore CL headroom, “after 3 or 4 days.” So there’s that.
As long as it’s by calendar year and not cardmember year, then get the card in December and use the benefits for that year (2026), then use the credits in January 2027, and again in January 2028 when your annual fee would be due. That’s IF it’s by calendar year.
What’s there to triple dip?
Vlad (CEO Robinhood) has said elsewhere that it’s the heaviest credit card you can get anywhere. He described it as designed to be the card James Bond would have (similar vibe to Amex Centurion Card in that sense, I suppose). He also said something to the effect that it’s the “dinner’s on me” card. You loudly plunk it on the table (dining being one of the few situations where you don’t usually pay with your phone) and get your 5% back on dining. This was all on the Odd Lots podcast – which overall was not about the card at all. Bottom line: this card isn’t for us, the RH Gold Card is for us.
“Valid on qualifying…” Yeah, even if the annual fee was half that, I won’t get it to avoid frustration on figuring out how to use those credits or which expenses are valid and qualifying.
This is inferior to Bilt. Also, in contrast to Bilt’s sophisticated features, this card shows a total lack of imagination in its design.
“ The Robinhood Platinum card is plated with 99.9% pure platinum” How many grams is that? Normal metal cards are ~13g. Would this be enough to cover the fee for the first year on its own? 😊 What am I missing?
What’s the purpose of this response?
Triple dip then cancel
Awful. No SUB? They are counting on people signing up that just want a cool silver Robinhood card.
This is an underrated comment
As someone who subs to OneMedical, Oura, and Function, it’s super tempting. The fine print that makes you purchase the Oura device just to claim the one year membership is a lame gotcha though.
Damn, the devil’s in the details. This reads as being useless to those of us that already have a ring or that have an AMEX that covers the ring purchase annually.
My 3rd or 4th card was a Chase Platinum card…. Everyone used to offer gold and plat.
Hope they leave the gold alone!
It’s an ad!
We can literally get DoorDash gift cards at 20% off (at least for now)
Hell no
Oura credit is one time only and requires you to purchase the Oura membership up front alongside an Oura Ring purchase: Eligible Robinhood Platinum cardholders who purchase an Oura Ring can receive one complimentary 1-year Oura Membership access, enabling advanced analytics and personalized guidance. To receive the benefit, Cardholder must opt in via the Robinhood Banking App and within six (6) months, purchase Oura Ring with a pre-paid annual Oura Membership at the time of purchase on http://www.ouraring.com . Oura enrollment is required to receive membership access. Once the Oura charge posts, Cardholder will receive a statement credit of $70 within a few weeks to cover the Oura Membership.
the sweet spot is 1. Prices same as ordering in person. 2. BOGO or 20% off offers on top of that and 3. Pickup while on the way back from work. This adds like 5 mins max to the day and is a substantial savings.
All earnings on portal hotels are a joke anyways as the portal price is made up. If you’re going to portal then Priceline will generally beat whoever’s anyways once you do an express deal. 12x sounds a lot more exciting than “12% off our made up price coupon”
>DoorDash: No value here. $10 off $50 is below a standard offer. As it can be stacked it’s probably not “no value”, but it is low value. $50 on door dash is also significantly beyond a typical single-serving. If you’re not splitting with multiple people or getting something for later it’s not an easy use of credits.
They’re still relatively mediocre overseas and you’d have access to Centurion and business/first class lounges through status or class of travel. If you’re constantly going overseas in coach but not enough to have status I guess PP could be for you.
Trust me, you are not that guy
Is Robinhood able to come up with an original name? Or will they continue to copy Amex? And provide a watered-down Chase product?
Non-starter. The team that thought this one up must be living in a vacuum with no access to P&M blogs or to their competitors’ offerings. Laughable!
I care about Priority Pass. Not everyone’s travel horizons are stunted by U.S.-only travel; it’s a big world out there.
Wow, I’ve always wanted my own money dripped back to me. Trickle down coupon book? Also, how come no one heard of the market research for it at first?
