Our Verdict

Public bonus is up to $1,500 but there is no landing page for that bonus. This is basically the same but there is a landing page and it’s only for state farm customers. I’d recommend reading the public bonus for more information. There is also a personal bonus for state farm customers for $500.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Yep. Bilt excludes certain purchases (e.g. taxes) from earning points. But it’s not considered cash advance.

It’s the average of your balance in the checking account, counting only collected balance.

During application you have to sigh in to your SF account, Then there is also a permanent SF logo next to your new checking account number.

People have done that but if you open too many, you can get shut down

Yeah, im likley going to close this account and churn an EIN as this current one is under my SSN and violate the 12 month rule. I am curious though how many accounts one can churn just for the CC funding. Thats 3k per account, even if your not going for the bonus.

Thanks for the helpful details of your experience! I assume your CIU did not charge a cash advance fee and will pay 1.5% in rewards? I am curious because of the experience by “Alpha” shared today.

Opened and funded the account with Bilt Palladium card ($3k). No cash advance fee but got no points:( Coded as Financial Services.

No clue. Why don’t you ask USB?

Do we know if sole proprietorships are qualifying? thanks.

The Direct Link only shows earning $900 for a Gold account not $1,200. Just FYI

Did SSN and sole prop EIN within about 4 months of each other. Working on LLC with new EIN now. Should hopefully post in October.

Good call on renters insurance (did you just select one month or a yearly policy and paid a month)?

You can still apply with EIN now and get the bonus as a separate business. Also if you switch your promo code to Q3BUS26, you don’t need to go through State Farm route. It has the same requirements https://www.doctorofcredit.com/u-s-bank-400-900-business-checking-bonus/#comment-2358788

I actually do have a separate EIN I could use but its a bit late now I suppose with the account open. Ive been reading through past DPs to see if they enforce the 12 mo policy on the same tax id but dont have a resolute answer. Maybe ill still try, if I dont get the bonus complain and ask for concession. Maybe tell them I put the wrong tax id. Have not decided yet.

Do you know if this account would count as the us bank business checking account for the smartly checking waiver?

Applied as a Guest and was approved.

Good to know. Looks like you can continue as guest on the application process and it will still work. Ended up getting a $10 renters policy just in case.

I got a US Bank biz account recently as sole prop with no docs requested. I do have an existing relationship with US Bank.

DP: I got this bonus via state farm link about 4 months ago. Not a state farm member at all.

Applied Business Gold Checking as SP on 7/22/2026 and they requested business docs. Uploaded my drivers license only and was approved on 07/24/2026. Funded 3k with CSP and I’m not even a State Farm customer.

Have done LLC with EIN and sole prop with SSN within 6mo of each other. If you try with added sole prop with EIN within the same 12mo, let us know how it goes.

SW
Sweepster#2391231

There is no fee for the Gold account! “ A waiver of the $20 Monthly Maintenance Fee for new U.S. Bank Gold Business Checking accounts opened on or after February 12, 2026.”

BE
Bedu🔗#2391215

Yes it’s possible. I’ve done SSN sole prop and EIN sole prop in the same year. I think other users like Pickle Rick, SP, etc have done EIN LLC too

WE
Weapon#2391207

Any triple dip DPs? Sole Prop with SSN plus Sole Prop with EIN plus LLC with different EIN?
