Our Verdict

Last year it was possible to get 75,000 miles + $100 + 500 bonus miles. Dummy booking is currently showing 60,000 miles + $100, I would be waiting to see if that offer increases to 80,000 miles + $100 as normally it does increase in line with the public bonus. Because of the better offer that was recently available and the fact we might see this become 80,000 miles + $100 I’d recommend waiting it out and won’t be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Whats credit limit in this cards? Who already get this card?

Yea, I was bummed to see that; can’t remember if I could see it before signing up in March for the 75k bonus. At this point, my plan is to hit the 15k spend limit for the bar tab perk, then cash in all my points and transfer in whatever is left, hopefully during a bonus, for a redemption then pull the plug on the card. The CS leaves a lot to be desired and they don’t even properly bonus VV charges for add-ons despite it being correct on the statement, which is ridiculous! The fact that points take a long time to post on the first place does not help. VV needs to dump synchrony…

Link showed 60k for me, I googled around, milestomemories had the same link that showed 60k+20k that worked after I cleared cookies. Application stalled out, but they still pulled my credit. I’ll give the 855 number a call later today and see if they have the application

Thanks, was considering but did not know. Sounds ridiculous to try to get a cruise based off 80k credit card offers then

Yes, however the VV redemption is pretty dynamic – most good cruises are 250k points and up to 400k+. You can find some that are 170-180k starting but those are not too common and tend to increase over time from what I’ve been seeing.

Anybody know about the churn factor for this card? Have one open and AF about to hit. Got bonus last year and looking to close after AF hits. Thanks

Can those points be used for any virgin voyages cruises or is it limited to flights and hotels.

I did this. When you get the card, look for a red folder thingy that comes with it. Look under the flap that says something like “Nothing to see here”- mine had a free 500 miles there.

In the offer, says 8000 instead of 80,000
