Fee increase was announced like a year ago
I got nothing. Did notice annual card fee went up 50% from 199 to 299 and no notice.

All i got is some lame ass Door Dash offer that I’d never use; not even a Pepsi! And that’s all I wanted.
I just got the DoorDash and Lyft benefit email.
I received this and I have a SW Plus personal card. P2 did not receive and he has Priority personal card.
Perhaps since we’ve jointly redeemed ~300k SW points in the last year or so and I have companion pass.
We killed everything that made Southwest special and monetized everything about our relationship….please don’t leave. We value our abusive relationship with you at ~$60, not redeemable for cash, so really only $20 out of pocket. Btw we increased prices by $45 per flight if you want 1 less bag than you had before. You still LUV us right?

Interesting. I just noticed yesterday I had 5,000 points deposited into my account dated last week. Now i know why. Email was sent yesterday but didn’t see it till i searched my email after seeing this post.

I’ve should have also added that I did receive the points and the annual fee is going to be charged in a couple days. I doubt that timing is a coincidence. And these points I believe are from southwest themselves not Chase. I should still be getting my anniversary points from chase at the end of my next statement cycle.

I don’t know about them feeling generous, but I do think they fear the mass exodus cardholders leaving as many don’t find the value they once did.
