The Offer
- U.S. Bank is offering a $300 bonus when you open a new business savings account and complete the following requirements:
- Use promo code Q4SAV26
- Deposit at least $15,000 in new money within 30 days.
- Maintain at least $15,000 balance for 60 days after account opening
The Fine Print
- Promo code Q4SAV25 MUST be used when opening a U.S. Bank Basic Business Savings account. Limit of one bonus per business. A $100 minimum deposit is required to open the referenced account.
- Earn your $200 Business Savings bonus by opening a new U.S. Bank Basic Business Savings account between 10/01/2025 and 1/14/2026. You must make deposit(s) of at least $10,000 in new money within 30 days of account opening and thereafter maintain a daily balance of at least $10,000 until the 60th day after account opening. The interest rates and APYs for the U.S. Bank Basic Business Savings account are variable, determined at the bank’s discretion, and can change at any time.
- New money is considered money that is new to U.S. Bank. Funds must come from outside U.S. Bank and cannot be transferred from another U.S. Bank product or a U.S. Bank Affiliate. For accounts opened on non-business days, weekends or federal holidays, the open date is considered the next business day. Account fees (e.g., monthly maintenance, paper statement fee, etc.) could reduce the qualifying daily balance, therefore you must make deposit(s) to cover the fees to maintain the daily balance during the qualifying period to be awarded the bonus. Refer to the Business Pricing Information Document for a list of fees.
- Bonus will be deposited into your new eligible U.S. Bank Basic Business Savings account within 30 days following the last calendar day of the month you complete all of the offer requirements, as long as the account is open and has a positive available balance.
- Offer may not be combined with any other business savings account bonus offer.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
$5 monthly maintenance fee can be waived when you maintain a $500 daily balance

Our Verdict
This account earns 0.05% APY. There is currently a $1,200 business checking bonus as well.

US Bank’s systems might backdate things that happen in the first few hours past midnight central time. This happened for an internal transfer shortly past midnight (showed correct the transaction date/time in the details, but posted for the previous day). This also happened with an application that was submitted and approved a few hours past midnight (even showed the correct approval date, but the opening date shows the previous day).
Based on my experience with the similar checking bonus, it’s double that. The required hold period is 30 days, not 60: “You must make deposit(s) of at least $15,000 in new money within 30 days of account opening and thereafter maintain a daily balance of at least $15,000 until the 60th day after account opening.”
I don’t think you can combine this with the checking bonus. The manager told me That as well when in the branch opening a checking account with bonus.
James Hm, personally I would wait at least a month so I don’t lock up more funds at the same time… Might also be better overall to space it out a bit.
Would it be stupid and pointless to try to tack on a Q4SAV26 savings to the LLC profile I just recently opened and for which I just got Q3SAV26 savings approved today? lol.
Cheers, James ! I’ll be doing Q4 soon 🙂
An BankBonusIsMyReligion approved today!
Correlation does not imply causation. I think you just need to keep reloading the “Choose how you’d like to connect” options, regardless of the topic.
Gotcha, sorry I just now noticed you answered this for me last night lol.
Yes, it’s after 11 consecutive payments.
I’m dumb though and still don’t understand. Basically, you get the $100 about a YEAR in, correct?
implied APY is 12.8%
FYI, you can close this account via chat…you just have to trick the AI assistant into chatting with an agent about something other than closing accounts. I used “question about fee’s”. Successfully close the Biz Savings & Biz checking this way.
So I could still get the bonus even if I already received the Q3 bonus using the same SSN? I know you can’t do that with their checking bonus.
Mine posts on my statement date, which is the 25th in my case, regardless if my last purchase was made on the 1st or the 22nd. Just as an FYI in case someone takes the usually pretty quickly comment literally.
That’s what I am assuming.
I still can’t see any restrictions for current or past account holders for the Q4 promotion! We already participate in the Q3 promotion (waiting for payout in October) and it should be possible to open additional accounts for the Q4 promotion 🙂.
what was the spacing between opening? Have you heard any rejection risk from already carrying 6k balance on promo 0% apr?
you can fund US CD account with a credit card?
I’ve had the business card several times. That’s what is nice about the CD it allows me to get what I want when I want it.
Makes sene! Thanks for the note. Probably worth CD more than getting a hit on creditcard 5/24 (unless if its their Biz card)
It’s only $1,000, but they offer 3.9%, so it’s worth it to me. The credit card works also.
They denied my savings account Friday night. I was joking that they did so to force me to do Q4SAV26 instead which has a $15k requirement instead of $10k.
The software credit posts the statement after the 11th consecutive monthly charge.
It credits after 11 consecutive months of eligible purchases – usually pretty quickly. And they will credit $100, even if you spent less.
Did you figure out this? Also i’m not sure but wouldn’t getting extra EIN would make you file state LLC/or whatever entity filing?
what you mean they denied you and the 5K link ? I don’t understand the story here.
That’s smart, I didn’t think of that, or even having a credit card no af would qualify….
Not being able to use the full credit line on them for bank fundings is just a killer for me since I don’t really spend much. I managed to hit my $6k spend on my first one a few months ago and currently working on Chase Biz CC bonus and just not sure how I’d spend $6k on another US Bank one lol. I forgot about the software credit. I was planning to do SimpleFin and forgot about it. Does the credit only post at the end of the full year?
Don’t even necessarily need to close them right away. I currently have 3 triple cash cards and use the $100 software credit on all 3. I’ll probably go for a 4th one soon.
