Update 9/29/26: $1,500 offer good through 1/13/27 with promo code Q4BUS26. Hat tip to reader An. Two new requirements:
- Additionally, you must enroll in U.S. Bank Business Online Banking within 30 days of account opening. Business Online Banking requires separate enrollment from Personal Online Banking.
- remains the same checking or savings product type. (checking/savings account has to remain the same, can’t product change)
Update 7/6/26: $1,500 offer still seems to be active with code Q3BUS26. Valid through 09/27/2026. Hat tip to reader An
Update 4/3/26: $1,500 offer still seems to be active with code Q2BUS26. Valid until 6/30/26. Hat tip to reader Sergey
Update 1/15/26: $400/$1200 is extended through March 31, 2026 with promo code Q1AFL26. Requires six qualifying transactions now. $1,500 still active apparently? with promo code Q1BUS26
Update 11/19/25: There’s now a public link to the $1,500 bonus, this one shows promo code Q4SFS25. It’s a State Farm-branded deal, but should work as a public offer for anyone. The lower tiers are better as well at $900 with $10k and $500 with $5k. (ht reader KT) Update: seems that link errors out eventually if you don’t use State Farm. Might still be possible with the promo code discussed here.
Update 10/16/25: Might be possible to get $1,500 as well.
Update 10/1/25: $1,000 bonus has been increased to $1,200.

Our Verdict
Previously there was a $800 business checking bonus with the same requirements as the current $900 bonus but it only required a silver account which is much easier to keep fee free. Because of that I think the old $800 bonus is actually better. That being said the new $400 bonus is the exact same requirements as the old $300 bonus with the same account needing to be opened so that is an improvement and worth doing. Given the churn period is now only 12 months I do think the $400 bonus is worth doing and we will add it to our best business bank bonus page.

F.A.Q’s
Can I get this bonus more than once?
The terms state: ‘Limit of one bonus per business’. You can get the bonus multiple times by using a different business ID (e.g EIN/SSN if sole prop) or for different businesses. Some discussion here.
Can I do this bonus and the business savings bonus?
There is currently a $300 business savings bonus. There is nothing in the terms that says you can’t do both and there are many datapoints in the comments below and in the savings thread that confirm this.
When will I get my bonus payout?
The terms state:
‘Bonus will be deposited into your new eligible U.S. Bank business checking account within 30 days after the month-end in which all offer requirements are met, provided the account remains open with a positive available balance.’
The requirements are met on the 60th day after opening (this is the end of the balance maintenance period and the deadline for the qualifying transactions), and the 30-day payout period starts the next calendar month. Payouts have usually been mid-month.
Does the $1,500 bonus really work? Rep says in branch only?
Yes, there are many datapoints of the $1,500 bonus really working. Only you can decide if you want to take that ‘risk’ as there is no landing page. I’d recommend using the comment search to search for ‘1,500’ or ‘1500’. Terms don’t say in branch only.
How long does the review take if ‘in review’ shows up?
It’s usually completed within a few hours or the next business day, just be patient.
Is it ChexSystems sensitive?
There are mixed datapoints, but people generally have more success with their Chexsystems frozen if they have a high amount of inquiries.

I didn’t make note of the six transactions in my notes and missed the 60 day cutoff, unfortunately. At least I got some cc funding.
You pulled out too soon?
They mean “Limit of one bonus per business per 12 months.” What day specifically did you close? Always tack on two or three weeks to it. US tends to drag their feet on the official closing date (10 business days).
They mean one of this particular offer’s bonus.
Fixed, thanks
William Charles Just nudging you about the expiration date in the update.
Confirming a promo is attached to your account is perfectly fine.
DO NOT CALL THE BANK!!! You are eligible with different EINs and SSN. I have 5 “LLCs” and I can get $7500 SUB in total. Next time if you have doubts, post your question here first. Plz plz plz don’t ask the bank this kind of question.
Jia-Ying Type “cc funding count” or something like that in the comment search.
Probably a stupid question…. does CC funding count as new money? I assume nope.. I think I’ll withdraw that $3k once the account is open and then ACH push $25k ($22k my own money + $3k from CC funding).
Well, I mean all of us here did that. To clarify, had you been specifically asking to downgrade to Essentials (by name)? Unenroll from electronic tax documents via your online profile, then call and ask directly to downgrade to Silver. I don’t see any reason why they would refuse.
So if I just mention Silver, you think they will let me do it?
Brian R I don’t understand… did you lose the offer terms?
Interesting thanks
joe I always keep Chex frozen for this. You could try again with it frozen. It’s till 1/13. Will put the wrong date in the update.
Gotcha. I already applied before and got denied due to chex unfortunately. Luckily this is around to 1/17 like you said really would like the bonus.
I got an email to fill out a PDF form for funding after it failed online. I sent them the form, they called back right away and I gave them the same Wyndham credit card. It worked on the first try for $3k. Not sure what happened, but adding this as a datapoint.
joe I think each business login should only show the business accounts for that business. You can find more discussions by typing “merged” in the comment search. You need to have opened a business account before you can create a business login for the business. Just make sure you open for a different business when you apply. You can use your personal login while applying and it should show the businesses you already have on the “Who’s Applying?” step.
Not sure at what speed U.S. Bank does for pulls, but whatever transaction date the transfer shows in online banking is the date you need to watch, and not the date of when the funds are available. I imagine that is next business day after submission, but could vary. However, I doubt the bank is going to let you move $20K all at once via online banking, so you are going to need to find a different way anyway. Usually the daily/monthly limit is going to be less. Many of us that do bonus offers that require last transfers use a quality hub account and push funds into the new account; not pull.
What you mean by this is you want a separate log in for it to work SSN+EIN? I got the bonus for $400 sole prop ssn this year and reading through it seems I can do SSN+EIN for this new sub. Just curious about if I need a new log in and how do make sure I do that when applying. Appreciate the write ups An.
I opened an account on 9/24/26 for the State Farm Business Platinum promotion. I’m curious, if I pull $20K from an external bank, do I have to include the potential hold it would take for the funds to clear? So would I need to pull funds on 10/16/26 in order for them to hit the account by 10/24/26? Or would 3 days, so 10/20/26, suffice and U.S. Bank will still count the funds even if they are pending? Great work! Thanks.
i spam “talk to agent please” to those AI shits until they listen
There were some DPs of a tracker / bonus emails for the standard online offer.
Is there an easy way to send a secure message to US Bank? I keep getting stuck in an endless loop with this stupid AI smart assistant.
See # 2423391
there is never a tracker for business checking as far I know and people are actually getting bonus with ein as sole prop I am not sure what you were trying to accomplish by calling when one has got bonus if opened in July yet very odd to call bank at this stage
Only applies to transfers initiated with their service. I think transfer limits with the business login might be higher than the personal login.
Where did you get the limit? If it’s from U.S. Bank ACH pull, then just push from external bank account.
strmaster Reps are unreliable. There’s lots of info here that can be used to help check all those things (except the code being attached), including whether the business profiles were merged.
