Update 7/14/26: The 200k offer is now the standard offer on the AmEx website and google search, etc. To reiterate: this is for ‘up to 200,000’. In practice, you’ll see what they offer you after doing the initial submission step (no hard pull) and can then decide whether to proceed.

Update 7/30/25: Showing frequently again for me. I’ve reopened the referral thread for sharing your links, do not share if you’ve already shared your link and do not share your links in the comments below.

Update 10/21/24: This is reliably showing via referral links again (at least for me). We’ve created a dedicated thread to share your referrals in (click here) do not share your referrals in the comments below.

Our Verdict

This is an amazing offer if you can get it to show. People are talking about certain referral links being 200k, but in reality I think it might depend more on the user who use opens the link (depending on location, etc).

No referral links or sharing in the comments below.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

How did you get those offers to render? Could you share your path?

When I access the AMEX website, it is only showing a 100k offer. Nothing about “up to” 200k. But in the Offer details on this page, it mentions checking the AMEX Referrals – but I don’t get how that’s relevant if I do not have the Gold Card to which to refer someone (and referral codes aren’t allowed here). Anyway, I’ve been a loyal user here for many years and I’m stumped.

Any chance you could share them? I haven’t had any luck finding a fixed offer
