Update 9/21/26: Looks like another round of these has gone out, so worth checking the app if you’ve already checked.

The Offer

No direct link to offer, showing via app. Might also show when checking for pre-approved offers?

  • Chase is offering some people increased offers on credit cards when they check for pre-approved offers. Some sample offers:
    • Chase Sapphire Reserve: 175,000 points after $6,000 in spend (current public is 100,000 points)
    • Chase Sapphire Preferred: 125,000 points (current public is 75,000 points)
    • Chase Freedom Unlimited: $300 bonus (current public is $200)

Our Verdict

Recent increased offer on Sapphire Preferred was 100,000 points and on Sapphire Reserve it was 150,000 points so these offers are bigger than this. As mentioned the reddit user that posted this saw it in app but the image shows them as pre-approved so I wonder if checking the pre-approval tool will help?

F.A.Q’s

Will these bypass 5/24?

Some ‘selected for you’ offers bypass 5/24. I’ve never seen a ‘you’re approved’ offer bypass it.

How do I get targeted?

You don’t. You’re either targeted or your not.

Where do these offers show up?

Can you stack a referral bonus with this?

No

Which offer is best?

Depends on how you value the benefits on each card but for most people either the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve will be the best option.

Are there any offer card issuers that do this?

Yes. Periodically most of the major card issuers offer higher bonuses via pre-approvals. There is a full list of places you check for pre-approvals here.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

Keep in mind that Chase UR points have been severely devalued. They’re doing away with Points Boost and devalued the Hyatt transfers. This diminishes the excitement over these cards.

Its easy to justify the annual fee for the first year, based on the signup bonus alone. Then you have 12 months to determine if its worth keeping it for a second year…

Hey guys I was opted out from pre screen, I just opt-in my self. Any one has any idea, how long would it take to start seeing preapproved offers ?

Did the CSP for 125k. FYI if you accept one, the other goes away. (The CSR 175k went away for me)

P2 had 75k preapproval for sapphire preferred. Applied and approved even though not a great offer since needed a card to transfer miles for P1 (AU). P2 has had both sapphire preferred and reserve though it is a possibility preferred was 10+ years back.

I am an infrequent traveler but I use Hyatt points when I do travel. I stay at a Hyatt Place adjacent to an airport. Cash about $140; points 7.5 k ( points requirement went down this year). The value at Grand Hyatt Kauai is fabulous but the availability is non existent for a year. Used to be 25k, now 35k is lowest.

No, it’s once per lifetime even you had the card in 2018. It is retroactive.

What’s the real use for Chase points now ? I have only used it for Hyatt transfers and now i do not find much value there.

Just got approved for 100k CSP offer two weeks ago. Still haven’t competed the spend bonus yet.

I saw United 100K in my offers. Applied and got denied.

You see, you know how to give the pre-approval, you just don’t know how to give the approval. And that’s really the most important part of the pre-approval: the approval. Anybody can just give them

should have read “pers” or personal. fatfingers

I already have 3 chase cards. Might just close it.

Scored the 125k point offer for the CSP. I missed out on the 100k offer but glad I waited. Pulled Experian.

Joe Johnson#2389213

how can i opt into these? it says im opted out

JA
Jack#2389143

I would click through it to the end to see if that is true but I don’t want to apply for the card at the current SUP so someone else is going to have to try.

Offered doesn’t necessarily mean approval unless something changed. Both me and P2 had preapprovals and both went to 7-10 days and ultimately denied for already having held one. The only plus is that they didn’t do a hard pull.

Still Haven’t finished the CSR 150k bonus task, is it possible to match this offer?

ZE
Zerosum 🔗#2389098

Yes sorry my numbers are off: 150k offer ended, they had 125k in branch which I managed to get. Wishful thinking I got the 150k LOL

ZW
Zwe#2389090

On my home screen on the chase web portal, I see it under “Chase Offers” and above “See your free credit score”. P2 has nothing, so presumably the whole section is hidden unless you have at least one offer. Don’t really know how to attach images, but the whole text says “You’re pre-approved! As of 8/12/2026 Chase Slate Chase Sapphire Reserve”

LA
Lakshya#2389076

That’s interesting. You already got a bonus and got offered another one?

About halfway down where it says “Explore more products” click on credit cards

RA
Random D#2389069

Do you see it or are you just saying that would be nice? That *would* be nice. I resisted the recent 100k public offer but 125k would be hard to resist. Still no luck tho, seeing 75k

DT
dtg_#2389029

Isn’t that rule only for the latest versions of CSR/CSP? If we got the card in let’s say 2020 (when the lifetime rule didn’t exist), would applying for a new CSR/CSP now give the bonus?

AR
Arley#2389027

Are you downgrading or closing after the second AF hits?

DT
dtg_#2389025

It’s once per lifetime as of 2026 right? Meaning that rule doesn’t apply until we apply for the new version CSP and not if we got it years ago prior?

VI
Vicky#2389024

I was on the same boat. But ended up signing up anyways. Even for cash out, I would end up getting $900 after cash value and another $100 for Paze checkouts 😀

VI
Vicky#2389023

Will do it when I get a chance. I have no business cards.
