• ACNB is offering a $200-$600 bonus when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
  • Establish and log into Online Banking
  • Enroll in eDocuments
  • Establish a Mastercard® debit card and conduct 10 unique transactions per statement cycle. Each transaction must be valued at $20 or more, unique, and made to a different payee. It may take more than two days for a transaction to post and clear. ATM transactions, cash advances, returns, credits, and person-to-person payment transactions do not qualify.
  • Maintain a minimum average monthly balance of $2,500 for three full consecutive statement cycles following account opening.
  • Establish recurring monthly direct deposits limited to payroll, Social Security, or qualified retirement plan distributions. Earn $200 when you establish direct deposit totaling $2,000 per month; earn $400 when you establish direct deposits of $4,000; earn $600 when you establish direct deposits of $6,000 or more. Monthly direct deposit qualifications will be reviewed for three consecutive statement cycles.

The Fine Print

Offer may be modified or discontinued without notice. $400 Cash Gift: Offer does not apply to existing ACNB Bank personal checking account customers, owners or those with signing authority on any other ACNB personal checking account or those who closed a checking account within the last 12 months.
• The $400 gift is deposited after completing the following steps within the first 60 days of opening a new Advantage Rewards Plus Checking Account or Advantage Rewards Checking Account (1) Establish and log into Online Banking (2) Enroll in eDocuments and (3) Establish a Mastercard® debit card and conduct 10 unique transactions. Opening a Basic Checking account: (1) Establish and log into Online Banking (2) Enroll in eDocuments (3) Establish $500 or more in reoccurring direct deposits limited to Social Security, pension or payroll within the first 60 days of opening the checking account and (4) Establish a Mastercard® debit card and conduct 10 unique transactions.
• It may take more than two days for a transaction to post and clear.
• Gift will be deposited in the new account after steps have been verified.
• Customer may be subject to 1099 INT reporting.
• Limit of one $400 gift per account and per household address.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Monthly Fees

• Basic checking has no monthly fee, but requires direct deposit for the bonus
• Advantage rewards checking has a $7.95 monthly fee that cannot be waived
• Advantage rewards plus checking has a $9.95 monthly fee with a $2,500 average daily balance

Early Account Termination Fee

 $30 if closed within 180 days of opening

Our Verdict

Very strict on account opening unfortunately. Worth it if you can get the account opened though.
