  • Bonus will be paid 30 days after account opening or on the next business day after 30 days after all conditions have been met. Limited time offer, see branch team for full details.
  • New customers only with Texana Checking, Green Checking, or Rewards Checking accounts only.
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

Texana checking has no monthly fees with eStatements

Early Account Termination Fee

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is any EATF.

Our Verdict

Seems like it requires manual approval by a banker so not sure how strict they are going to be on being in area and ChexSystems sensitivity. The bonus itself is good though if you can meet the high direct deposit requirement for the $500 bonus.
