This page has been updated for 2026. We are now also including hold periods in the top description to make it easier to sort. Remember it might make sense to hit the smaller bonuses with shorter hold periods before hitting the ones with longer hold periods. You can also now easily find this below ‘bank accounts’ in the top menu bar. If you see any errors let us know.
Our posts on the best bank account bonuses and best credit card bonuses are some of the most popular on the site, recently I’ve been trying to post more brokerage bonuses as I know some people use these to make some extra money and it helps them grow their investments. This post will be for the best brokerage bonuses, I’m relatively new to these so I’d welcome your input on bonuses we might have missed and any relevant important information you think should be included. Unlike other sites we don’t use affiliate links for brokerage bonuses so you can ensure you’re getting the best possible deal, rather than the one that pays us the most.

Looks like Robinhood is cashing in on this news – I just got a 3% transfer offer when moving from WeBull with 5 year hold. Ends in a week, Oct 16. https://pastebin.com/q80TCp6X https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/2026-hood-month-acat-match/
The Ally Invest $200 expired, remove it from this list
I posted this PNC $600 offer #2385679 for those looking to park funds into a brokerage account that includes self-directed/traditional/ROTH/rollover option. Looks targeted and when selecting any of the offered account a promo code does get auto-applied when you proceed with the application, ymmv. Exp. 9/30/2026.
William Charles Not sure if targeted, but it looks like SoFi ACAT bonus is back. 9/10/26 through 9/30/26, 1% match on up to $5 mil transferred, so $50k maximum match. New and existing self-directed IRA and taxable brokerage accounts. Same 5 year hold period as other recent SoFi Invest promotions. I’ve never done an ACAT bonus so not sure if this is typical, but sounds like the transfer has to be fully settled before the promotion end date. Guess it doesn’t count if the transfer is initiated before 9/30 but settles after. The email I received was titled “How does a 1% cash bonus sound, just for switching to SoFi Invest?” I’m seeing advertisements in the app as well. https://www.sofi.com/acatterms/
The 5% crypto match looks much more interesting. Not sure what the catch is — no clear hold period, USDC eligible
William Charles Wells fargo is dead.
WeBull just sent me a email offer that was up to 1k for a 100k transfer held until end of 2026 (copied the terms here https://pastebin.com/2ykTYYqg ). This is more than 2% APY, but the cap is relatively low. It’s been a few long months since the uncapped or larger >2% bonsues. Been hearing about more of these semi private offers lately, wonder if this trend will continue.
Need Kalshi & Polymarket to get into the brokerage game so we can get real offers back on the table
SoFi is doing a deposit match bonus until August 31. Cash deposits, not ACATS, but not targeted. (Robinhood is doing one right now which is targeted and the percent varies based on client.) its 1% for everyone and 2% if you have SoFi Plus, and that SoFi Plus match is now for all cash deposits and not just recurring ones. You can just have SoFi Plus the date you make the deposit and cancel afterwards and still get the 2% match. The biggest hurdle for most is probably the five year earn out period, although any gains above the amount invested and the pre promotion amount can be withdrawn without the early withdrawal fee, and they have a transparent example of how it is calculated. https://www.sofi.com/invest/#ltodisclosure
You’re not dealing with the right people at e-trade then. You need to get in touch with your “registered rep” at your local branch office. They all have email addresses last I checked. Unlike banks, broker reps who speak to you are supposed to be finra-licensed (inevitably that means US-based), unless it’s something purely administrative like website technical support. It could be that they are just blowing you off but I guarantee if you were a big enough account there would be a US relationship manager or local rep happy to document a bonus offer in writing.
yeah, I asked two different reps yesterday, but both said they can’t do that. Like most banks, it’s most likely support in Philippines or India.. it sucks companies don’t give their reps more options.
If you are worried about not getting the bonus just have your rep email you or message you through their portal saying you qualify so you have it in writing. It would be a slam-dunk case later if you present that message to their compliance team or via finra complaint.
Sunshine It didn’t work for me last year (when the limit was 2) and this year (when the limit was 3) for the RETIRE25 or RETIRE26 IRA account promotions. The accounts were opened, but the promotion was not attached. Were some of your bonus offers for existing customers? Those don’t have a limit. I was eventually able to enroll in an IRA promotion for existing customers.
The eTrade brokerage bonus in the terms has a line that says “Each client is limited to a maximum of three new account offers.” I’ve received 5 eTrade brokerage bonuses over the year. I chatted with relationship manager on eTrade chat and he’s insisting that I WOULD qualify for it even with the “Each client is limited to a maximum of three new account offers.” line in terms. Wondering if I should go for it or not, or anyone have experience with this situation?
Got an email offer from Fidelity. Must be email targeted (at least by the terms), must register by 8-14, 30 day deposit window, 12m hold. Tiers are $50/$10k, $100/$25k, $200/$50k, $300/$100k, $500/$250k. Craziest part is that I clicked on the offer in my email, logged in, and it immediately said I didn’t qualify. Reading the terms, you have to open the IRA before being able to activate the offer (I currently don’t have any IRAs with Fidelity).
Got that here: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/u-s-bank-wealth-management-up-to-1000-bonus/
https://www.usbank.com/splash/wealth-management/cash-back.html Earn $250When you invest $250,000 – $499,999 Earn $500When you invest $500,000 – $999,999 Earn $1000When you invest $1,000,000+\\ Seems to be pretty shit, but maybe I am missing something and I don’t find it discussed
The TradeStation $5k deposit / $150 bonus / 60-day hold you mention looks to have expired on February 24, 2026…unless you have a new link that I’m not finding, of course.
I asked support chat and they said 5 year hold to keep it. Don’t think we’ve got any real data points or more specific clarification
Public 1% bonus expired on 5/31/26. I think they may have retroactively expired it because I’m pretty sure I crawled the page a few times in June and didn’t see that until today, but I’m not sure.
AFAICT, there’s no restriction on doing both the taxable (match + NVDA) and the IRA. The taxable bonuses also have bizarre contradictory hold times: * “cashback will be issues in installment payments, provided the client maintains the asset value in their account for a full 90 days following the settlement date” * Clients who transfer $100,000 or more to their TradeUP account and maintain their transferred assets for a year will receive an additional 1% match ($1,000 capped match).” * “After the first 90 calendar days: Clients must maintain their account assets for a full 90 calendar days from the settlement date. The first cashback installment will be distributed at the end of the first full fiscal quarter after the 90 calendar day period.” Those seem straightforward, but then: “3.7 If an Eligible Customer does not maintain the initial transfer amount at all times until the Final Offer Reward Payment Date, they will not be entitled to receive the full amount of the cashback reward.” Since the bonus is paid in quarterly installments, that certainly sounds like one would need to hold it for a full year for the base bonus, and 2 years for the extra bonus (and not 90 days and 1 year as the first clauses state). But then: “4.12 By participating in this campaign and receiving the cashback bonus, you agree that the cashback bonus will not be issued until the end of the first full fiscal quarter after the 90 calendar day holding period is complete. The cashback bonus is subject to forfeiture if the account is transferred out within 90 calendar days of the cashback issuance. Certain restrictions may apply when you request withdrawal of the cashback bonus.” That sounds like you need to wait for the final bonus to post + another 90 days. So max time in 2 years + 90 days? There seemed to be no clarity on the thread. I may reach out to them about both bonuses.
At face value it’s a 5 year hold, but as you note they did change the other requirement to 1 year, so it is possible they just forgot to update that clause. Would be worth a support email or confirming with someone who’s done it. IIRC the IRA won’t stack with the NVDA bonus that the taxable would get though.
Is there a reason that the TradeUP IRA Promotion doesn’t have a page? https://www.tradeup.com/iraPromotionEnT&C Good through 9/30/26. 2% match on first-time transfer to retirement account (trad IRA, Roth IRA, or Rollover IRA) capped at $1K bonus (so $50K). Additional 1% match for $100K (= another $1K). 3% match on new contributions. The hold period is very confusing, though. It says: “The match will be issued in quarterly installment payments, provided the client maintains the asset value in their account for a full 90 days following the settlement date.” “Clients who transfer $100,000 or more to their TradeUP account and maintain their transferred assets for 365 consecutive days will receive an additional 1% match ($1,000 capped match)” “New contributions must remain in the account until the end of the year in order to be eligible for the cashback reward.” “3.2 Clients must maintain the value of the transferred assets in their account for 90 consecutive calendar days to qualify for the cashback reward.” “3.4 If an eligible client does not maintain the initial transfer amount at all times until the final cashback payment date, they will not be entitled to receive any or all amount of the cashback reward.” “3.5 Clients must maintain their TradeUP retirement account for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the first qualifying transfer or contribution to avoid forfeiture of any cashback rewards received. Any withdrawal or transfer out of the account before the five-year period may result in the forfeiture of previously issued cashback rewards.” Given 3.5’s requirement not to withdraw or transfer for 5 years, I don’t understand what the point of mentioning 90 days, 1 year, end of the year, or final cashback payment date is.
I have received many brokerages bonuses over the years, receiving many thousands of dollars and hundreds of thousands of airline miles (in the old days). I’ve never used cash. I always transfer securities from one brokerage to another. This way, my securities are always receiving interest (usually 5-6%), no matter which brokerage they’re in; and the bonuses are extra. My formula is very simple. I use cash for bank bonuses, securities for brokerage bonuses. Works great for me.
Because it’s free alpha on already invested securities.
I know what you mean, but APR can make sense comparing one brokerage bonus to another. There is an opportunity cost given your portfolio can only be in one brokerage at a time. Somewhere around .5-1% APR is hard to beat consistently. Some of the offers like 1% with 5 year hold are not currently good enough when seen through this lens. I see lots of comments making the mistake of comparing them to bank account bonuses, it’s entirely a different thing.
Thank you!
Jack Both, depending on which offers I’m doing. Like if my investments are tied to an offer and I have enough cash to do another offer, I’ll put it in SGOV or t-bill if it allows.
catcat Do you just use SGOV or do you pull in legit investments?
I like to look at these brokerage bonuses and add a conservative 3% APY to the yields for comparison, assuming that the minimum investment I would hold is SGOV.
