Our Verdict

Looks pretty good rewards rates for a no-fee card, plus no foreign transaction fees. Also a nice signup bonus. You need to be a member a current or previous member of the armed forces (and related), or be a family member of a member. Hats off to all our service members and veterans.

If you’re referring to the SCRA or MLA, both apply to active-duty service members, not veterans.

Can join as a close relative of a veteran (even if they are deceased). So think about parents and grandparents. IME just needed legal name and branch of the service.
