Our Verdict

Card itself is interesting as you’re able to offset most/all of the annual fee with the airline credit and free night certificate. As part of the introduction of this card it looks like they have changed existing cards (more information here) and also done a broad devaluation across the board as well. Before anybody asks I haven’t see any datapoints to suggest that 5/24 doesn’t apply to this new card so expect the usual application rules for Chase. Will add this to the new cards released for 2026.

Newest-first by default, because “is it still working?” matters most.

How did they notify you that they had to transfer credit limit from other cards? Did you have to call the recon line or do they do it automatically?

Just using the annual free night and airlines credit is $450 in value. You don’t even have to use any of the other benefits. Seems quite straightforward compared to other cards where you have to use 5+ benefits just to break even with the fee

Man, these hotel and airline cards getting crazy with their benefits. Unless one is really married to a brand, these look PITA to maintain and maximize the benefits.

I hold the $49 legacy card along with the Biz Premier. I’m going to get this one because the $200 airline credit is easy for me to use. Spending $15K gets you 20K points, and spending $25K gets you Diamond status, which includes lounge access. I might spend another $15K to get to $40K for the second FNA. The first $15K level, with the 20K points issuance, is basically a freebie and is worth $100. Each 60K FNA would be worth at least $250 in my book. The quarterly restaurant credit might be harder for me to use since it’s $75 per stay. The UA credit could also be useful. I’m hoping Chase comes out with something comparable for Hyatt!
